How much revenue Nitel generates compare to NNPC?

Good question. Nitel generate less revenue when compared to NNPC. However the privatised coys are now generating hundreds of whatever Nitel used to generate.

How much of the revenue generated by NNPC is accounted for in our national budget? NNPC deduct it's operating costs from revenue before reporting to the federation account. Who reviews the operating costs to confirm that it is not over deducted? Nobody. Who reviews their subsidy payments? Nobody. Have you wondered why their audited accounts have not been signed since 2011? I think what we should do is to ensure that the company is sold to the right people.

Till we set our priorities right we are far attaining greater heights.
Who will ensure at the bold?
It's simply obvious Atiku is in the business of selling things and not creating anything.

Kudos to pmb, his investment in security worked hence it's not in Atiku's agenda.

PMB's tenure is nothing to write home about.

He bbrought the economy to hits knees, when he pegged the exchange rate upon assumption.

Sanusi, Soludo and Utomi all condemned his exchange policies. The economy has barely grown 0.6% yearly on average during his tenure unlike the 7% previously enjoyed.

Im apolitical and just stating the truth. Economists and the organized private sector are terrified at another 4years of PMB's rule. It will be a lost decade

Atiku's policies are pro market and pro business and should usher in fast growth of 8% or more. He might be corrupt but countries can still grow very fast despite corruption if there are good policies in place.

I foresee the stock market or stock prices rising by 30% if not more within 6months. There might even be a small rally in the stockmarket upon his victory.

One of the ways of setting our priorities right is by disposing of NNPC. Me must at least start somewhere right? This would make even the presidency less attractive because the national cake would not be there again.

You still don't understand Nigeria.
If the office of the governor is not less attractive, you think selling the NNPC will make that of the president to be?
Except you're referring to a different country.

Atiku please stop justifying that stupid statement that you want to sell NNPC. Selling NNPC is synonymous to selling Nigeria.
Brazilian NNPC is privatized, Saudi Arabia NNPC is being run by a private firm. Only the most corrupt government in the world(Nigeria) will want to continue to steal billions of dollars through illegal withdrawal of billions to private pocket.

Where did you get such information from?

Petrobras and Aramco?

You need to read in-depth to understand what they did.

There's nothing wrong with NNPC. Don't let the Nigerian government deceive you.
They are all into it. It's just a jungle house.
We are expecting a reasonable government to completely diversify the economy and someone is bothered about selling NNPC.

That's one of the few major asset left for the country, must we sell all these parastatals to make Nigeria work?

Atleast 40% pay, the problem here is if the tax officer collects 3k as tax from ur shop, he will only remit 2k I.e if they even do remit at all

That 40% is too generous.

If it was true, I'm sure therw will be a budget surplus.

..,you say government is frustrating your efforts to get loan?
...are you sure you have a geninue company and reason for financial institutions to give you a loan?
..because if you have all the necessary it should be easy to get one.
I didn't say the government is frustrating my effort to get loan..never applied for one..and what do you mean I am sure my company is genuine?if you have seen a fake registered company before I haven't.i mean the present government is frustrating what I do..I wouldn't say how but it's legal.

How has privatization helped us in other sectors like NEPA? The idea came with many promises but the light situation has not improved. They will only succeed in selling the Refinery to their brothers in the north and they will be in total control of the nation's wealth. They have most of the oil blocks. Now they want to have the refinery.

It will to some extent. At least we have to start somewhere. If you really know how oil and gas works and how NNPC is being mismanaged, we should be congratulating Atiku for having such initiative. Do you know all the subsidiaries of NNPC? Do you know all the different joint ventures that NNPC has interest in? All the IOCs have lower interest in OMLs compared to what NNPC has and yet NNPC continuously declare less revenue compared to what the IOCs declare. Also know that these IOCs still pay 80% tax to this same NNPC. NNPC is a major source of wastage for this country at the moment. If it can be privatised, it will be a major achievement for us as a country.

This dude is extremely showing us how he would eventually sell every property of this country in the name of privatization and for his own personal gain. He would be the one to buy it at the end scenario.
All this political armed bandits that surrounded the leadership tables of this nation would NEVER allow the nation to move forward.

are you allergic to economic policies? reducing corporate taxes has the propensity to give companies note opportunities to grow. You can't be taxing corporates profits heavily and be hoping these companies grow. Already most Abuja businessmen are complaining of multiple and excess taxes that is choking their businesses.

Thats what the liberalists would say. We know the endpoint. Few men would control strategic institute or the country economy then they call the shots

I will say this once the PDP has a blue print for privatization which the Atiku/Obi Ticket would follow they did it in NITEL and PHCN, the next has to be NNPC, I knw many pple that got jobs Tru this privatization policy, the part that must be privatized is production and refining, we cannot continue this way.... Privatization is the only way to go for a teaming growing population.10naira trader money cannot help your future kids.

Who with his right senses will vote for such a man still chanting for privatization... Lets not forget how Nigerian Airways was sold off and Arik now owns about 40% of Nigerian Airways properties. Sold by Obasanjo and Atiku and none of the workers where paid during that time. That same bill was paid off by PMB just last month after 14years. Imagine working for Nigeria and not getting paid for a whole 14years. Same with Nitel, Railway etc all privatized and now he is talking about privatizing NNPC. This will be the biggest mistake Nigerians will ever make electing somebody like this. To me no better candidate i rather stick with PMB 2019. We should not use our hands to cause trouble for our self. Jonathan is not good we threw him out and suffered. Now we are about enjoying, we want to throw the other out and bring back another recycled leader. The angel you know is better than the one you dont know.

ANYBODY OBASANJO SUPPORTS, NIGERIANS SHOULD STAY CLEAR. HE IS LIKE A PLAGUE TO THIS COUNTRY. JONATHAN IS BAD HE WILL TEAR UP HIS PARTY MEMBERSHIP CARD, TODAY BUHARI IS ALSO BAD BECAUSE HE IS NOT WORKING OR NOT GIVING THEM THEIR ENTITLEMENT AFTER ELECTION. NIGERIANS VOTE WISELY
