30 Then he said, “May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak. What if only thirty can be found there?”
He answered, “I will not do it if I find thirty there.”

The time you used in arguing with an atheist would have been use for more edification of the inner man by the Holy Ghost.
The reason atheists have enough words in their mouth is because we Christians always have time to reply and argue with them. Atheists said there is no God which is fine by them, but we must understand that they are blinded by Satan and at the same time fulfilling Bible prophecies.
Atheism will remain silent like the cemetery if those that serve the Living God who is the Lord Jesus Christ pays no single attention to their arguments.
As Christians you don't owe atheists arguments or proves of anything but PRAYER. Convert argumentative energy into prayer energy and see how the Holy Spirit will convict them of sin, righteousness and judgement.
