Who gave birth to you Oh my goodness, you are too intelligent!!

Your reasoning is beyond normal. So apt.

You ought to author a book to guide young men. I am highly impressed by your words, mhen, more wisdom to your super brain cool

See accolades, na only we get this one? grin

Thanks mate, highly appreciated. Na appreciation like this I de like, it makes me write more, and gives me the satisfaction that someone can learn and get better. Thats why I even started writing, to help men improve, decode female behaviour and not be at their mercy.

About writing a book, well, I've been advised that alot by those who knew me personally, but I enjoyed low key life, and write when necessary.

Thanks once again cool

Really?! The girl WAS rude, simple.

Amakavula:
The guy started off with too much respect, don't over respectful women, it shows us you lack capacity.

Be bold ( not arrogant ) fearless ( not stupid ) and careless( with subliminal tact ) about chatting with ladies, that shiitt ticks us off with good vibe, shows you are in charge and have capacity.

If I was the guy, I would start off with something, a little negative, have the lady on the defense from the go; then swoop in to save the day ( gets a few laughs too)

Maybe talk about:

You: "..my friend always say ladies on filters are low key scammers ?"

she is curious, asks why,
You : " pretty and worwor ones hide behind it," hard to tell which is which.."

she laughs
You laugh

You: you know you can't hide forever?
She : " that I worwor ? "
You: " are you saying you are cos I never concluded ? "

Now you have neg her, have her high esteem in check, you can just ignore the conversation and ask other things. It becomes easy for you. ( don't try this with me grin you will fail , but it works for my Male friends I advised )

A man with power, money, or fame would never over respect anyone.

Imagine Wizkid chatting her, he wouldn't try to over praise because he is the prize. You are to him anyone, adopt that mentality all women has.

You deserve even more. Consider the writing now that u have got the inspiration.

I used to be a great writer in the past, and I wrote some relationship books and published on Amazon back then and today, those books I wrote out of boredom and when my spirit and head was still calm earn me steady monthly royalty that averages between $120 - $350 without me doing any extra work for the past 6 years or so.

And I now regret that I didn't write as many then, maybe I would have been earning around $2000 steady as residual income by now from it.

So now that you have the inspiration and passion, pls start writing professional books for international audience, not just for Nigerian market, target international readers, it pays a lot

Got it. I don vex grin

I'm a content writer, I write on fiverr, and other writing platforms like quora, so writing a book actually takes me nothing, just laziness as you said lol, to sit down and write books going into at least 100 pages, mehn. Na who get time for that one na ? But all what I wrote here on nairaland today already surpassed two pages, if I write even a page everyday, I'll reach 150 pages before the year runs out.

I'll make it a goal to write one book before the year runs out, and if I do, I'll PM and send you a copy.

Why I agree the Gloria in the OP was rude and unfriendly, only a girl with low self esteem and something to prove will fall for this bullshit.

And no offense, you sound like someone with low self esteem.
no offense you sound like someone with comprehension problem. clearly you don't get context, or understand conception. Not everything is an attack, learn to reason.

wonderful, I am glad I inspired you today, and please make sure you achieve this new goal....it takes nothing....you can draw more inspiration from Nairaland romance and family section for your write-ups.

First start with creating the table of contents.....draw the table of content which will guide you on how to tailor your content.

Then take up a challenge to finish each chapter in your table of content every new week.

If you have say 10 chapters, that will take you 10 weeks, and there you go....go and give it a try

So you readily tell every John dick and Harry that talks to you and asks about your job, what u do? Besides you got too serious and formal with ur mention.

Apologies for sounding too serious and formal, though I am totally clueless on what that means.

No, I wouldn't readily answer that, but right from her first reply, she wasn't saying anything meaningful. If at all that question was her problem, I believe there are better ways of avoiding the question.

Nice dp, I like the top. I believe it will look good on me grin

If one has a job he/she is proud of, why will that question be a problem?

Go for organizations dinner parties, you see people introducing themselves and asking these questions. No one gets angry, maybe because it is a gathering of professionals or because they are seeing physically.

Him: What do you do?

She: I am a doctor, a baker, a cook, an olosho...

Throw the question back at him. What do you do too? If they are in similar sectors, fine. Another topic done commot o!

If for confidential reasons she isn't ready to disclose that, she can politely decline.
./quote]As simple as that no hard feelings.... meanwhile there are gals that dont asks questions... like if I ask u something u tend to reply and ask me too in similar fashion but only me asking questions keeps the conversation one sided...

Quite annoying
this one dey vex via unemployment. My dear.. What do you do isnt a bad question. If ur a student, u should say you school. If ur a teacher, say you teach. If you are jobless, then say no job for now. But if ure jobless and stupid, then say the guy cant hold a conversation with a girl. Stand the chance of being called an ODE. just like the illiterate ure trying to defend

He's got too much RESPECT. I do appreciate he's attempts to get to know her but the way he went about it is just....sad. The lady was damn right about it not being an interview.

The guy is a civil guy.

He started with salutations. GOOD!!

She gave that "fyn nd u"

For me, (fyn nd u)= abort mission. I can't be typing in full and you reply me with that nonsense. Not at this point in my life.

Anyway, he didn't stop. He proceeded to introduce himself. EXCELLENT!!!

Now, he didn't need to ask/beg for her name. Her response to his introduction should be her own name and some nitro!!! NOT THAT DUMB "OKAY".

Okay what? Okay the name is fine?
Okay, continue talking while I reply in 4 letter words?

She says he is interviewing her. It is an interview because she was not giving him cue. When someone starts a conversation, you reply and add something to keep it going.

Don't say, "Gloria" then shut up.
Don't say "Okay", that's dismissive.

Finally, she says "MUMU...COMMON MEANINGFUL CHAT WITH A GIRL, YOU CANT DO".

She just had to finish work with that entitlement mentality of sit back and allow a young man stress himself to keep you talking.

Chick is actually an ODE, the guy is right on that one. Bye
I have a feeling the lady is a nairalander grin grin

They don't else you will have the tool to pretend and spoil their game. They prefer to see you for who you are but if you know what they want, you can pretend and deceive them and they don't want that. If you are broke, they want to know. No pretending and confusion.

The only reason women would admit to their secret is if it's already in the open and they cannot hide. Even then they admit with justifications and rationalisations as much as possible. For example, unlike before, many men are realising that women are heartless gold diggers and many women are now coming out and admitting this with many rationalisation and defense mechanism eg. "so what? I am a gold digger. I like money, who doesn't?", "is it a crime to like a rich man?" etc.
