Where was he when their was no South-South man in Nigeria first six position.
Exactly

SS no top position from 2015 to 2018 until Onnegan was later confirmed and later removed.

S/W no top person in Nigeria from 2011 to 2014 despite voting massively for Jonathan.

PS: We gave Jonathan more votes that year than we gave Buhari this year.

Any Igbo person wailing about this top 6 position is an opportunist and potentially corrupt

Is it top 6 that will put food on anyone's table? Did they tell you people that any of those people in the corridors of power gives a hoot about the average Nigerian? People are looking for food to eat, y'all are concerned with nonsense politics that has never led to progress in Nigeria.

Is this country better off today than we were ten or twenty years ago? We are regressing into irrelevance in world politics and people are bothered with irrelevancies. What did Ekweramadu do for the advancement of the Igbo nation all that time he was DSP? Nothing.....yet, somebody is disturbing us about Igbos in the Top 6

What does it matter who is at the helm? It will only serve the person and his immediate family, none of those people care about the country and nothing they do will ever favor the country

This a case of entitlement mentality. Who made it anyone's birthright to have the first 6 highest political posts. Lol how did this arbitrary number come up anyway? There's a clear difference between losing and being excluded. Everyone was given opportunity to vote their choice.

1. President is elected
2. Vice President elected
3. Senate President elected by peers in senate
4. Speaker of the House elected by peers in house
5. Chief Justice appointed then confirmed
6. Deputy Senate President elected by peers in senate

Dont mind the losers. They want to reap where they didn't sow. Were they not voted for as you rightly asked? So because una be SE they should give you position after losing? If you guys are really significant then you should contest for elections and win. When you guys throw all ur light weights behind Atiku and Obituary, now you wan benefit. Ndi'ara.

Out of the posts they got both the vice presidency and house speakership. No other region got more than one. The SE on the other hand got none.

Nobody GOT anything. They were all ELECTED by all of US.

President and Vice President was elected by all the citizens of Nigeria.

Everyone else except CJN were also ELECTED by people all the citizens of Nigeria ELECTED (Sentate & House of Representatives) to REPRESENT us all at NASS.

First thing they did in REPRESENTING ALL of US is to pick the others on this Agbakoba's list.

The CJN was nominated by a President WE ALL ELECTED and then had his nomination CONFIRMED by members of NASS we also ELECTED.

Let us all stop crying wolf and take election serious. Get PVC. Don't sell your vote. Pick a competent candidate, and not one who's name sounds like your ancestors... But one who is a professional and competent

You're right. But why is every saying Igbos played bad politics simply bcs the didn't vote APC.
I believe the Igbos should stick to PDP and wait till 2023. l don't see APC reigning after Buhari. Once PDP pick a young northern President candidate. The north will migrate.
Are you indirectly saying that North will rule us in 2023? are they the owners of Nigeria? what is wrong with us?

all this things u quoted meaning that a particular people is not good for any position because they were elected?so if igbos are given the opportunity to electe they will not elect any of their own right ?and when they tell you that they will like to be on their own ,you people people will start crying.

You people should go and occupy all the seats in Cameroon, if you so wish.

That time all of you were all doing atikulate up and down, una no realize say e go soon do una vum for eye?

Ndi ara.

While the rest of nigeria is playing sensible politics, my own igbo brothers are busy playing sentimental and emotional politics.

Now, this is the result.

But with that said...

I don't even care whether we occupy any of those positions.

Reason being that, we are still the most industrious tribe in the country and at the end of the day, all that really matters to us is our business...

It is not worrisome....it is a god Development. It would vindicate Kanu and also ...it would make the remaining 20% of Igbo That still have any rays of hope to give up on Naija and know that Nigeria hates them ....it is clear

So ...this is blessing in disguise ! It has a way of doing these this

1. Resetting the brains of Igbo That believes in Nigeria
2. It has made the remaining 20% Igbo That hopes in nigeria to give up
3. It is a good case for international community and a refrence point for Biafra
4. It has shown that apart from South South...the Igbo has no ally except their Niger Delta
5. It has shown that nigeria is irredeemable
6. It has solidly unified Igbo And made Igbo a rugged group wey no send
7. It has shown the hypocrisy and stupidity of Nigerians and Nigeria

Despite the exposure and education, this still came out from Agbakoba. Isn't it obvious politics is not about equitable distribution of post along tribal lines? Why give the elections and appointments a tribal colouration suggesting the SE was deliberately maltreated. Life is about choices and accepting the consequences.

quote author=nairavsdollars post=79306433]Temidayo Akinsuyi, Lagos

Chief Olisa Agbakoba (SAN), a former President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) on Wednesday has described as worrisome that no South Easterner is occupying any position in the first six political offices in the current administration.

President Muhammadu Buhari is from the North-Central while Vice- President Yemi Osinbajo is from the South- West. Ahmad Lawan, Senate President is from the North- East while Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila the Speaker of the House of Reps is from the South- West.

Justice Tanko Mohammed the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) is from the North- Eastern state of Bauchi while Senator Ovie Omo- Agege the Deputy Senate President is from the South- South geopolitical zone.

He also said the President Muhammadu Buhari’s speech on Democracy Day was not inspiring though it gave him a slight ray of hope.

“I was not inspired because it was not the kind of speech that I expected. I expected a foundation laying speech; meaning that if you are building a house, you find a deal with foundation issues. I think Nigeria lacks the foundation and the fact that for instance, if you look at the first six highest political offices in Nigeria and there is no Igbo man is worrying which the President hopes to achieve development and success”.

“I was hoping to hear a speech that focuses on the need for a strong, united Nigeria. I didn’t hear that. Notwithstanding, what I hear gives me a slight ray of hope. I was impressed with the issue of lifting 100 million people out of poverty in 10 years”.

“I was impressed with the fact that there will be strong men to do the job. So, what I am looking at now is to watch out for the next few days to see the kinds of people that will be appointed to drive the ship of state” he said.

All because they want PDP to win so SE can have slots in the to six positions and eventually these braindead folks who aren't beneficiaries of the whole thing will cry marginalisation on social media. Nigerians have lost it, religious, social and political leaders have successfully fùcked their brains up and they are happy with it

Shut up man!! Nigeria hates you when you dont get slots. During GEJ reign, SE had two slots from the top six; Nigeria didnt hate you then.
