The statement that a woman should be able to look after her kids without their father triggered me.

It is a selfish statement and grossly irresponsible. It shows that you have no vision and no outa of responsibility which is why we have kids hawking, begging on the road to feed thier parents ...because of men that think like you and I am tired of it.

I really wish you will do better, choose to provide for any child you bore or have a vasectomy .... or castration if yo know you cannot look after your kids.

In my area, they use the type of hotel for their adultery called Mosa fun e to - meaning have tried my best to hide from you (hubby).
In that case, if you as the hubby find her to that place, then don't be annoyed if the concubine/man friend beats you with the hotel thugs. They will tell you if your wife has not tried her best to run and hide away from you by using a far and outskirt hotel to sleep with a man. 1. If i marry a lazy man, then it is my fault and no other person and i have to deal with that.

2. Why won't a lot of men abandon their role when such role is financially overwhelming. A role that is not defined will be abused.
For example - the role of an average lady is to take care of the home - the hubby, kids and house. Now this role is generic - whether you go to kano, calabar, lagos or accra.
For the average man, we don't even know what Role is anymore because it is not well defined or spelt out even within the same community. A role can be from a one room to a mansion. It is not even standardized and that frustrates a lot of men.
You can argue it that a man should know is level and settle for it which brings out the flaw
