I'm here talking about ancient tingz, and you are here telling me about railway yard in Yaba.

The thing about shrines is that they hardly change, and the way they are looked after, remains the same throughout the ages.

I have already posted here, the findings of neutral Portuguese observers. Not observations from Ndigbo. The Portuguese clearly noted what they saw when they visited Benin in the 1400s, and what they wrote down will remain forever. Nri was the Benin cultural/religious/social overlord.
If Nri had decided to form an empire, Benin would have been one of the provinces, along with Ife and possibly Awori-owned Lagos.

I will investigate the Iponri thing. I know you will be making frantic efforts to contact the Iponri traditional authorities, but that won't help you, as my traditional Nri people will tell me how to go about it, to verify its authenticity. Bear in mind, the Oba Nri and his group have already investigated and found it to be very plausible, so my investigation is just to satisfy myself.

Lol. Stop noise. Im here when you find shrine name and its history.

So the Oba palace that have housed all the previous Obas and seen things should leave tradition and listen to ipob miscreants
Pathetic

ObA PaLAce shOUld lEarN fRom mE

First of all, I am not Kanu's loyalist.

Secondly, neutral Portuguese explorers have already established that NRI was the cultural, political and spiritual potentates of the Oba and his Benin people.

Thirdly, even the Ooni of Ife made it clear that Igbo influence and presence was much in evidence in Ife, so I don't know why we are arguing here.

The Nri-Igbos reigned supreme during the Igodomigodo era, Benin empire, Ife, Igala e.t.c

So let me not hear any revisionists from your area trying to form superiority over the Igbos

Igala and Benin influenced igbo arts, most igbo don't know where they came from. Most art pieces in onitsha belong to igala priest that conquered and colonised igbos before the arrival of British
What I read(documented Igbo's history) is quite similar as the emboldened.
Their history is quite shameful, that's why it was prevented from public knowledge.

A chimpanzee had intercourse with a girl in the wild and beget a child who happens to be thier ANCESTOR.

THAT'S WHAT I READ

The fact is every tribe from the South of Nigeria down to other West Africa countries like Benin Togo etc are descendants of one ancestor. They all migrated here at the same time.

Iponri means soul.

in Yoruba tradition there is no heaven or hell when a person die the soul is said to transport to the end of the world (sanmo) or roams about the universe till it comes back as reincarnation.

Hence, iponri can also mean your earliest ancestor. The original soul.

When somebody say's 'Oba porin e' it means woe betide your forefather.

You are just bangind table top to create noise, you have no such antiquity that you claim on. Your history has failed to stand on its own without any attachment to Yoruba arts. In fact look at the topic of your thread. It shows your desperation to manipulate what your so called history for acceptabce in public. Arts and history should speak for itself and catch attention, not forced for acceptance. If Yoruba contents in your history is removed your concocted fables of ancient history will collapse.

igbo-ukwu bronze art precedes ife bronze art and benin bronze by at least 400 years ! get ur facts right.

Igalas can be said to be Yoruba sub-group and that gives credence to my assertions that the Igbos most time derive their cultural/historical authenticity by attaching to the Yorubas.

You made mention that Igbos had Afa, just go now on google and look for where Afa originated from, it originated majorly from the Northern Igbos.

Even if you look at it, the Igalas conquered many Northern Igbo mini-states like Opi, Nsukka, Nsugbe, and etc.

Even if we are going to now link all these things back, It will still lead to the authentic one Ifa (Yoruba).

Or will you deny Afa originated mostly from Northern Igbo?
