Considering that the top are Asian countries (Nigeria is more populated than Japan or Thailand or Philippines) where noodle like foods is native to them, it means there's actually a huge demand for it in Nigeria. Either the dude doesn't know what he's typing or just being hysterical. Nigerian foods as we know it have high glycemic and cholesterol indices. The problem is that we don't regularly mix fruits with these foods thereby achieving a balanced state. And yes, you're right that sugar as bad as people say it's is actually needed by the body. Everything boils down to moderation.

They’re basically the same..one is made with soft wheat flour and the other with durum wheat flour( which is what is used for spaghetti). Spaghetti also undergoes an industrial process to make it the way it is..while ramen doesn’t. Pasta means flour.

Those countries you mentioned, noodles originated from, meaning most of the people can make it locally without buying processed one. It's like swallow in Nigeria, majority of household can make it, that's why people hardly buy processed one.
