Hmm.
There is this popular food vlogger you can follow in youtube. I think she is a blogger too. She suffered from severe gluten allergy. It's best if you live outside Nigeria cos the alternatives she provided can be sourced easily outside without breaking your bank.
Her name is downshiftology.

One of my favourites though I'm not glutton allergic but I love her healthy food alternative.
Damnnnn! What a channel! It’s very great thanks a lot !

Population is also a reason, for us to be in the table.

Not really much, Nigeria is the only African country in the top 25. Considering that the top are Asian countries (Nigeria is more populated than Japan or Thailand or Philippines) where noodle like foods is native to them, it means there's actually a huge demand for it in Nigeria. Apparently, it has become a staple here.

If they have a higher glycemic index than sugar according to your, how then are they more nutritious than sugar?

Who told you sugar isn't healthy?

Anything natural is the best, that's a fact!

But I still don't know how and why people go haywire at the mention of processed foods.

Is the "white flour" not natural? I think we even need to understand the meaning of food processing to begin with.

Why don't you stay away from carbohydrates completely and feel the wrath of hypoglycemia.

Either the dude doesn't know what he's typing or just being hysterical. Nigerian foods as we know it have high glycemic and cholesterol indices. The problem is that we don't regularly mix fruits with these foods thereby achieving a balanced state. And yes, you're right that sugar as bad as people say it's is actually needed by the body. Everything boils down to moderation.

I’m only making you aware it’s not every food that follows the moderation ideology, once it doesn’t fit with your body then you should abstain nothing like you’re moderating.

And for your information I’m healthy you don’t just throw words around ignorantly in your bid to be correct when you’ve been shown the truth.

I guess you're offended. Don't be.

I clarified in my other post that only healthy people should eat moderately.

Nutritional, you are not healthy. That's a fact.

Food allergies are dietary and nutritional deficiencies.

Nutritional healthy people don't have allergies.

big lie. Noodles doesn't cause obesity.

The number 1 on that list is China and you'll agree with me that obesity rate in China is generally low

They’re basically the same..one is made with soft wheat flour and the other with durum wheat flour( which is what is used for spaghetti). Spaghetti also undergoes an industrial process to make it the way it is..while ramen doesn’t. Pasta means flour.
are you a chef?

Those countries you mentioned, noodles originated from, meaning most of the people can make it locally without buying processed one. It's like swallow in Nigeria, majority of household can make it, that's why people hardly buy processed one.

yea this is where you would find us as a global demand for foods we would never feature in:
1. global demand for industrialization
2. electricity consumption
3. good roads
4. manufacturing
5. medical expertise
but when it comes to poverty, corruption, internet fraud, visa scam, terrorism, lack of hospitals, lack of drinking water, lack of electricity, lack of roads and infrastructure, polio, malaria e.tc we would find our names there am just tired o and last but not least BBN
