Yes if you people are comfortable in it you can wear, just the way Muslims girls are comfortable in their hijab. We Muslims don't care .
Who send your care?
Of course we are, we are proud to represent our ancestors, not all of us are slaves to Arabs and Jews.

I encourage him to continue. Let all his family members do same - to parties, school, officr, weddings, etc. Afterall, he now knows that the Nigerian constitution guarantees him that right. I just hope he wont get tired like his mates in Osun state the other time

I know many will come in defense of this man. But the simple thing is, Muslims wear their hijab everywhere why should they off it because they want to go to school.

His argument is baseless. Will Sango worshipper wear their traditional a market any day anytime? Or will a Christian lady in choir wear the rope outside of the church?if you want to wear the above(eeku and rope)to school, you're welcome. You'll get tired.
By the way, this is lagos not Abia.

I quite agree with you , but what happens when someone decides to walk in naked to the chamber and claim to be wearing an invisible cloth...even though the laws are there, they can always be amended when situations call for it.

If there should be any religious dressing in schools, then, any one can dress up in any attire anywhere in Nigeria.

Nonsense.

That is not for this man or you and I to contend with but the lawmakers to deal with. undecided

As a matter of fact, I was considering not wearing a shirt and shoes into the supermarket since dresscodes are no longer to be honored. Why honor even decency codes when the law says no need. undecided

If they can allow other students to wear hijab then traditional worshippers can come to school dressed in their costumes too. Make all of us kukuma craze together.

What craze is in hijab?
Didn't your Bible command your women to cover their hair?
Don't your reverend sisters wear a similar thing?

Uniform clothing for pupils or students simply implies same dress code. The verdict means 'disuniform' will now be the dress code...religious dress codes should be left for faith based schools or states in support of it.
