You sound like one of those suicide bombers, who is ready to commit murder and suicide for Islam. Why will you impose your religious dress code in my private business?
There you go, ignorant people, If they realized that this is a superior argument they resort to calling us suicide bombers.
Impose what on who? Islam has a dressing standard and it has to be followed if you are willing to follow it. Nigeria is a religious country. Christians and Pagan are also welcomed to wear their dresses, we got no problem with it.

I fully endorse everything this lawyer did. Everyone should be allowed to dress in a way and manner that their religion approves. What’s good for Aminat is also good for Deborah. Let’s all dress in such a way to propagate our religion since it’s legal under the law.

But you specify that non Muslims must not sell or drink beer in kano. You guys are just to obsessed with imposing your religious views on others.
So you go to a predominantly Muslim area and you want to abuse their standard. Can a Muslim go and build mosque or do Islamic activities in Igbo land, Where they are predominantly Christians.?

U wear school uniform to school,no cap no bangle no necklace no ring, but since Nigeria have legalized hijab through religious right let everyone begin to wear something that represents the symbol of his or her religion.

The law encouraged it and not any religion. With the Supreme Court judgement, it’s now left for other religions to follow the law and stop dulling. We must all follow the law until those making the law are sensible enough to correct some things.

And my Christian school is also predominantly Christian area.

Which standard? You are preventing me from practicing my religion and you are talking of standard. My religion demands the use of alcohol before my prayers and supplications can reach my God? I know your bigotry and hypocrisy cannot make you understand that.

There are many mosques and Islamic activities in igboland. In fact many igbos are Muslims.

I know many will come in defense of this man.

But the simple thing is, Muslims wear their hijab everywhere why should they off it because they want to go to school.

His argument is baseless. Will Sango worshipper wear their traditional attire to market any day anytime? Or will a Christian lady in choir wear the rope outside of the church?

If you want to wear the above(eeku and rope)to school, you're welcome. You'll get tired.

By the way, this is lagos not Abia.

Modified.

Nigeria is not a secular state but a religious state, it simply means everyone has the freedom to practice their religion.

Part of Muslims practising their religion is allowance to wearing of hijab. The British system was designed to favour the Christians that's why most of you feel comfortable.

Imagine if UAE is a bi-religious state making Sunday a work day, if you're a practising Christian and a citizen, will you sit and not talk? This is the similitude of our fight.

Non-Muslim should be allowed to wear their attire if it is anywhere in their religious book that they should do so.

The issue is that you can't touch anybody's religious book just the way you muslims burn anyone seen just sitting beside your book. So there's nothing to verify because you can't open my own book. Respect me too just the way you ask for respect. I worship Sango

If Islamic law is supreme to you and to be its the constitution, why then should be be lumped in the same country? Should you not advocate for a separation where you can create an Islamic Republic and me in a secular Republic where I can drink my beer and gin in peace.

You are asking me, you can go and create your country if you don't like it this way where Islamic law is Supreme. You don't need to ask me ,it's your choice to go have your country too drink bear and gin. But as long as you are with us in Nigeria Islamic law has to be given top priority.

Hijab is NOT just religious ceremonial clothes but a basic part of the life of a Muslim girl/woman which she wears everywhere; markets, school, party, mosque etc throughout her lifetime... His argument would be correct if only he could continue wearing the traditional attire in not just court but everywhere he goes for just 1 month... I bet he can't, he is just proving a nonsense point.

Why go to the Supreme Court with the attire? He should simply go about his daily life and work with it like the Muslims do. This is beautiful and commendable. I do hope he wears it when he is attending to his clients in his office, the way Muslims do. He is simply a clown.

Why do you feel bittered ? So Muslim girls / women wear Hijab even when they are bathing?
Don't they remove the Hijab in their entire life?

So does this Council .....he has the right to wear the attire anytime , any day, anywhere ......
Don't dictate for him.....all man to his senses pls
