Nigeria is not a secular state but a religious state, it simply means everyone has the freedom to practice their religion.

Part of Muslims practising their religion is allowance to wearing of hijab. The British system was designed to favour the Christians that's why most of you feel comfortable.

Imagine if UAE is a bi-religious state making Sunday a work day, if you're a practising Christian and a citizen, will you sit and not talk? This is the similitude of our fight.

Non-Muslim should be allowed to wear their attire if it is anywhere in their religious book that they should do so.

I know many will come in defense of this man.

But the simple thing is, Muslims wear their hijab everywhere why should they off it because they want to go to school.

His argument is baseless. Will Sango worshipper wear their traditional attire to market any day anytime? Or will a Christian lady in choir wear the rope outside of the church?

If you want to wear the above(eeku and rope)to school, you're welcome. You'll get tired.

This is a clear warning to the terrible CJN that what goes around comes around. How can they approve wearing hijab in Lagos schools? Nigeria is a joke. A school is a school and there's school uniform which everyone is supposed to wear and look same but this evil supreme Court headed by an Islamist lawyer is hellbent on destroying Nigeria. Its a shame on Buharii's APC government.

Did you type this long epistle because someone decided to exercise his fundamental human right to dress the way he likes to the Supreme Court in obedience to the same Supreme Court ruling? How come it pains you so much? Why drink Panadol for another man's headache?

I totally agree with him.

If they can allow other students to wear hijab then traditional worshippers can come to school dressed in their costumes too. Make all of us kukuma craze together.

If you think those wearing hijab are crazy, please wear what will make you crazy. At least the public knows who is crazy by their attires.

Stop religious bigotry. The hijab that is a norm in northern Nigeria has become a certain kind of phobia for some people.

Lets the man children dress like that to their schools and also attends interview and international events like that.

The mistake most people like you do make is that you always think about your views alone especially you think the only two major religion we have in Nigeria are Islam and Christianity. Unfortunately, you are fighting a 2 way battle. You always ask the Christians whether there is a chapter in the Bible that goes against the use of veil or the one that supports unclothedness neglecting the Atheists, Traditional Religion Worshippers who do not share ur views.
If your kids shares a seat with a Babalawo's pikin putting on amulets; will you tell your kids to avoid her or him? Won't you feel uncomfortable?
There is a reason why it called "uniform" which means to balance.
The mistake most people like you is that you refuse to use your brain and think you're smarter than most.

Are you now insinuating that uniforms should ve done away with? and people can dress whichever they like according to their religious, cultural or social preferences to places or situations that demanded uniforms. That also means Muslim women judges (including supreme court judges) can wear hijab on top of their wigs while presiding in court.
