This was arrived at after a heated and stormy National Executive Council, NEC, meeting of the union in Abuja.

It doesn't matter.
Whatever they decide, they will be on the losing side together with the students for the first time.

Having read that FG gave them a take it or leave it offer in the last meeting, if they choose to continue with the strike, then they won't be called to any meeting anytime soon, and will continue to live without salaries as a lot of people continue to move on and forget about them.

Some state universities are just waiting for ASUU to declare indefinite strike, so they can pull out of the strike.

At this rate many students go forget their matriculation number

It's better students use this time to develop one skill or another because education with an additional skill in this part of the world hardly sells

Someone said that ASUU said that it's now the strike wants to start, that previously, they were just doing rehearsal

It is now clear that ASUU is on another mission. The FG should desist from further negotiations with them. A few set of people holding our students to ransom because of their personal interest. All state universities must pull out of ASUU because ASUU leadership do not respect them.

The funny gist is that many of those foolish students whose future is being mortaged and crippled, are still supporting APC and Tinubu for next election

ASUU should not back down. I suspect Ngige is using this strike to get back at Tinubu cos he knows the longer the strike, the more anger Nigerians will feel towards APC.

If ASUU should call the striker off without tangible achievement next time they won't be able to mobilize for strike. And I hope those profs are not planning to announce unpopular results for politicians during elections? They can see the attitude of the politicians they so love to please.

Jokers, they should continue the strike abeg. Secondary school teachers in Nigeria add more value to Nigerian students than most university lectures. I said most because there are selfless lecturers i have come across, i pray they are recognised some day

ASUU should not relent. If they call it off then there was no essence for the strike in the first place. It will mean wasted effort and they will be the bigger looser Because government can’t take them seriously again!! Government is not being sincere with them!!!! ASUU give them wotowoto!!!
