Many students will forget where they are in their last lecture, even matric number.

It doesn't matter.
Whatever they decide, they will be on the losing side together with the students for the first time.

Having read that FG gave them a take it or leave it offer in the last meeting, if they choose to continue with the strike, then they won't be called to any meeting anytime soon, and will continue to live without salaries as a lot of people continue to move on and forget about them.

Some state universities are just waiting for ASUU to declare indefinite strike, so they can pull out of the strike.
i hope this is just true

ASUU should be declared terrorist organization..

In a sane world why shut down education for 7months?

I don't think ASUU officials are normal.
It's high time you compromise... They don't even care about the student mental health

ASUU is fast losing the sympathy of the populace.

Na small ' shakara' dey attract regards.

ASUU and FG need to adopt a 'middle of the road' approach to settle things.

'Too much beauty dey embarrass '

At this stage just sack anyone that refuses to resume after a given deadline

Move final year students to private schools on a negotiated discounted tuition so they can graduate and go for service

All Medical students should face uninterrupted studies

FG failed massively and made everything in Nigeria collapse with it. It's funny how some ret**ded people still desperately follow the administration that sold the nation into hell.

In fact, they're losing relevance. I'm no longer crazy about it as before.

Since buhari is good in borrowing, why not borrow and settle assu or better sign an agreement with them, to be honest our universities are lacking behind in basic aminities and infrastructure to meet up with the rest of the world, imagine using a tiger generator to give lectures because no power supply, or using mega phone instead of a good sound system to address students. The Assu know what they are fighting for cos I have also been there like every other student in the forum. No good roads in the campuses, that's why they send their love ones abroad. They have ACs in their offices but a professor has only a standing fan in his office, I'm happy Assu mean business this time around, enough is enough.

ASUU should pursue their demand to the end. Do you know what it takes to do research..buy reagents, publish papers at the end of the day, you get employed as a lecturer and they start paying you with less that 130,000 as a PhD holder. Demoralising those in academia. A lecturer after suffering to develop himself to get higher qualifications cannot rent a descent house, buy a good car or even wear good clothes. The truth is that if the wrong is not corrected now, in the near future, nobody will like to be a lecturer in a public university.

The youths should just take crushing this evil Apc as a task that must be done.
Apc is the biggest mistake this Country has ever made.

If buhari is competent enough, he would have called for a meeting with Assu himself and hear from them directly but we have a Deadman as a president, same thing he did during endsars, coming out to address the youths after alot of lives were already lost.
See where Yoruba people put us...

. FG does not want to spend money that is not captured by the 2022 budget because other unions in higher institutions like SANU NASU ASUP COHESU and so on will demand for money too. What other unions want is when the FG will answer ASU. FG is evidently treading carefully
