But what about those particular cases causes you to cite them here? Is it written somewhere that either of Job, Ahab, or even Ruth was judged righteous for being "pure in heart"?

2. My argument/position obviously has nothing to do with the first question. You were the one who brought up the argument that the beatitudes only apply to those who are born again...hence my asking, were Job, Ruth and Rahab born again?

3. Was Simeon in Luke 2 v 25-32 also born again? Well...John 3 v 3 holds the answer which connects all the dots; Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again".

Those who are pure in heart are obviously born again as well...be they Old testament or new testament. Since according to the words of Jesus "the pure in heart will see God"

1. I don't dispute what Jesus Christ said. Instead, your twist on what Jesus Christ clearly said is what I dispute.

Right before Jesus Christ began His Work, He is said to have established the context of His teachings beginning in Matthew 4.
He didn't approach the people, in any wise, as just any teacher. Instead, He approached them from the very beginning as one who was promised by God through His Prophets, the agreement of peace that they had all been waiting for.
The same Jesus Christ is also written to have made clear that without a relationship with Him, no one can see God. So, clearly, what He said in Matthew 5 vs 8 applies only to those who are of Jesus Christ .i.e. of the Kingdom of God.

2. Clearly, according to Jesus Christ Himself, one must have a relationship with Him in order to access God via the Kingdom of God. So, I still don't know why the mention of Job, Rahab, and Ruth. Are they recorded to have seen God outside of Jesus Christ or what?

3. Your questions are confusing. Did Simeon see God? How did you establish this claim of yours that Simeon was pure of heart and so hence born-again?

According to the same Jesus Christ, to be born-again, one has to be born of water and born of Spirit... ... so how could Simeon have circumvented Jesus Christ's own decree as regards how to become born-again?

1. Simeon was an Old Covenant Law of Moses righteous man, and the promise of that Covenant only guarantees the righteous Life forever in the Land of Canaan - Deuteronomy 30 vs 15 - 20.

What this means is that for Simeon to see God - a promise made by Jesus Christ to those who are of the Kingdom of God - , he, Simeon, would have needed to adopt God's New Covenant, Jesus Christ, and then lived a life of Righteousness based on the New Covenant Standard, in addition to the Old Covenant Righteousness which he already had.

1. I am afraid the fallacy here is born from your lack of understanding of what it means to be born-again. You see, according to Jesus Christ, to be born-again means to enter into the Kingdom of God - John 3 vs 1 - 8 -, and according to HIs teachings, the following are the minimum of necessary steps to gain access to the Kingdom of God.

@ You must believe in Jesus Christ
@ You must eat His body and drink His blood in order to obtain Eternal life
@ Baptized in water to show that one is changing from following the OLD WAY to following the NEW WAY
@ You must be born of spirit*. Note that even all those who enter the Kingdom of God through the Broad gate that leads to destruction(Hell) are also born of spirit.
