The op is too unintelligent for my liking. Very naive.

Monaboo:

You missed the point.

We are talking about old note and new note.

There is no cash in circulation. This is not the time to be choosing so u take what u can get regardless.

I could have told the Bank Manager that I don't want 100 Nairas. I wanted 1000 or 500. When she refuses, then I jump over her table and tear her bra.

I come in peace

If you no collect na your business moreover deadline is 10th. This would have been a fantastic thing but the execution of this policy is a shame cos after suffering you will still suffer. Never engage with hynas if you're not One. They always have nothing to loose. Besides You should have collected the notes you were giving to avoid such embarrassment, now Your loose became very much. I hope You learnt Your lessons.

cheesy cheesy grin sorry about the experience though. Next time avoid fighting. Not worth it. If you think you need it, buff up. Agberos sense fear, and for crying out loud, make sure you throw punches like you are in Bronx.

Sorry bro but next time close your eyes and sacrifice the change for the bigger thing you were after.
The person up there might be too harsh for saying that you are not intelligent but he is right. Different individuals from the presidency camp issued statements that the federal government must bow to the supreme court ruling on the extension of the deadline for the old notes. Even Malami the AGF also said that the deadline must extended as ruled by the Supreme Court.

I hope you've learnt your lessons. In the movie "Ayinla",the herbalist told Ayinla that he is wearing white,he should avoid people who play with(sell) Palm oil....In this life, there are certain people or things that you just have to ignore or avoid, else, they will drag you to their level. It's not timidity or pride, you do it because you have more to lose than them!!!

Based on tips, I had to attend an interview today. The information was that if I am shortlisted, I will start work latest first week of March. So I was very happy and ready to do anything to attend the interview.

As an applicant without a kobo, I had to kneel down begging a neighbour before he borrowed me 1k to enable me pay my way. The transport fare to and from was to gulp N400 or more.

My in and out was just the 1k. In fact, my feeding was also inside the 1k - everything. So it was a priceless 1k that every kobo was very important.

Early in the morning, I heard people arguimg over the deadline for new naira notes. People refused to collect the old naira notes.

So I boarded a bus with the N1000 note which I paid to the conductor. My transport fare was N100. When I came down, the conductor gave me new N500 note and two old N200 notes, making it N900. I refused to collect the old N200 notes. He insisted he didnt have new naira notes to change for me. Argument ensued as I refused to collect the old notes.

Like I said, that was the only money with me. So I didnt want to take any chances of collecting old notes that I will later not be able to use. So in the midst of the argument, he wanted to move and leave, I tried to stop him by gently holding his t-shirt. I didnt know his polo shirt was that soft. Unluckily for me, the polo got torn.

That was how war was declared. The conductor and the driver descended on me. They first targeted at tearing my shirt too despite showing remorsefulness over getting his shirt torn. Not once, not twice, they kept tearing my shirt till at some point, I put a resistance. Of course that couldn't be without a fight. I won't lie, those guys dealt with me. Two agbero hands descending on one non-agbero hand. Before people could intervene, they tore my shirt and a part of my trouser, gave me serious bruises, got me so dirty and stopped me from attending the interview.

I went back home like a mad man.

A very sad day for me.

May God help and bless me with a well-paid job.

The struggle continues!!!
You suffer from lack of focus. You should have collected your money first and headed to your interview. Some of una no ever get sense.

I am surprised you typed wrote so intelligently but you lack emotional intelligence. How could you, that is supposed to be more knowledgeable than both conductor & the driver, enter into such senseless fight with your level of education?

Just this morning my maid called to inform me that the 500 I drop for her to buy small pepper to make spaghetti for my kids was rejected cos the woman said she isn’t collecting old money. I simply told her to go elsewhere and they did accept it.

The common sense thing to do was to have received it and spend it elsewhere cos you are aware of the Supreme court’s decision on the new Naira policy.

More worrisome is the fact you were not spiritually inclined to know that that fight wasn’t supposed to be, but because the interview might favour you. Your VILLAGE PEOPLE knew this, why they set the driver & conductor to tempt you you fell for it. You need pray and ask the HolySpirit to guide you aright always.

I will advise you to email the company requesting for a reschedule citing a cogent reason for not showing up. Overall, you need to pray. Sometimes, these things ain’t ordinary.

all the people that post about big brother and football etc are enemies of Nigerians.
Cause this useless posts are distracting from the warnings people like me were sounding before this naira debacle.

The forex berue de change people in Nigeria fell out with govt cause they knew something fishy was up.
now they collected everybody money and saying no paper to print new notes.

The same govt of Nigeria everybody knew was sponsoring terrorist and kidnappers, what did people expect to come next from a govt that is already got terrorist and kidnappers in its ranks.

And after doing this money debacle to Nigerians , after they get away with taking away cash by force, what will they do next.

but i can assure between now, whatever they do next, there will be many football posts and big brother and such like distractions.

but you can see each time they do something people die people bleed. That's why i say, all those still posting football big brother etc are enemies of the nation that is in such a desperate situation.

Cause there is now more than enough evidence that the so called Nigerian government is a racist European institution , that not only genocides Nigerian people, but also does it in a mocking way as if they deprive pleasure form mocking their victims, a well known trait of European racists against their victims.

Sorry you had to bleed to find out bro, but better get ready for the next evil act of the European Nigerian racist govt, cause they not gona stop there. They have not stopped destroying the country since it was 2pounds to one naira , now that its 1000 naira to one pound , nothing is gona stop it making Nigerians bleed all the way up to 1 million naira to 1 pound.

you should be forming close communities that depend on each other and not govt, not posting about football and big brother when the life of the nation is danger from govt acting as enemy.

Make your own money, secure your own neighbourhood, make your own id card, form your own govt for your local communities , cause if the past is anything to go by, Nigerian govt only has hell promised for the future.

I know someone personally that was robbed at gun point with POS and till today her bank said they cannot traced who registered the account /POS.

Also, personally I know of a ATM spot, erected by a microfinance that has rendered many people useless before people stopped using it. Once you slot in your card, input your PIN the next thing he will just swallow your card. It wont be 15 mins before you start receiving debit alert. The machine is located at Akinogun , around Ipaja Lagos.
I believe that the Bank was trying to make that person to run from Pilar to post.. that is the work of a forensic accountant.. not those on the teller
This is how it works
<< Every POS is linked to an account...

<< POS cannot be issued to an ordinary person without a business premises or name of the Business..because when the alert of debit or credit transaction comes, it will specifically mention the business entity U as a customer transacted the business with...

<< Now it is the job of the fraud and forensic accountant to know the movement of the money..

<< If for example u were banking with First bank, and there was a transfer under duress, the bank will tell you which bank issued the POS... Just like you can identify when MTN, Glo or other network called you on your mobile, that is how they got certain digits to know which digits belong to which bank..

<< From there, if they are in collaboration with the other bank, trust me.. u will understand that the culprit will be discovered...As long as it's an online transaction... Forget it when you hear that it can't be traced... It is a lie..

However, I'm not so sure of the fraudulent ATM.. people should make a formal report
