Ahah are you Nigerians Okay like this? why are you so ungrateful APC and the courts instructed Banks to collect the old denomination and they have done well by all standards if you are still if you are still finding it hard to get cash then next time vote the party that brought this mess to you out so that automatic change can be implemented by the new party but since you have decided to accept BAT and his guys please do not complain and endure for 4 years its not to much to ask please be loyal and support BAT and his administration he means well for you

Who told you transfer is how you buy things cashless. Card payment is cashless payment not phone transfer. Next time use POS machine to transfer the money to the seller.

This and many more is proof that Nigerians deserve to experience this cash confiscation. Most businesses that ought to have POS machine to enable cashless payment don't have it. The government have to confiscate cash to force them. Even now most of them have not gone to get POS machine for their business.

Imagine just the other day I went to a seller of building materials to buy two bags of cement and nails, the shop is filled with all sorts of building materials, even selling wheelbarrows, but the man does not have POS machine. Both of us went to the POS agent next door and I paid the person N200 to transfer the money from my card to man's account.

When I think of the fact that this man has brand new big gen that he puts on whenever there is no light, but till last week doesn't deem it important to acquire a POS machine I can't help but believe that Nigerians deserve to experience this cash confiscation.

Too bad, so many people have died as a result of this CBN policy, things that work seamlessly in other countries don't work here in Nigeria.

The pain is excruciating

No other country in the world implemented this kind of policy.
That's why I pitied those that supported Atiku and Obi who saw nothing bad in this policy but instead, lauded it

To God be the glory, I was having up to 30k

And I gave 7k and plead with her to use it wisely till I get another one,

I have been doing money weybill for my mum and junior sister.

E no easy at all..

Does she used to get angry whenever you gave your mummy and your siblings money If yes send her away immediately.
Am talking from experience.

Was at Access Bank last Tuesday where I gladly collected 20k old 500naira notes thinking that CBN had complied with SC ruling.
Was later pissed off when I realised the money was being rejected. Was even more pissed when same Access bank rejected the money.

Though the policy wasn't a bad one, but CBN failed woefully to print enough notes & strictly monitor the distribution.
Effect is that so many small businesses have crumbled & Nigerians are being subjected to untold hardship for lack of cash. embarassed

Doubt if Nigerians can continue like this for long. It's either CBN issues enough notes or they revert back to the old notes.

They said that they are introducing a cashless policy and you agreed that it is not a bad idea. But you're still asking for enough notes from the CBN! If CBN gives out enough cash, will the policy still be called cashless policy? My point is that you don't know what you are saying.

Supporting the policy does not mean CBN should not print enough money for an exchange. How about the people hoarding the money.

This policy is really recking businesses and disrupting lives. I've resorted to eating biscuits and soft drinks in the afternoon. To eat a proper dinner Na wahala. Why? The vegetable sellers will not accept transfer.

This Emefiele needs to go please.
You are talking to me grin now am even afraid of pile because of sugar.
I ate last time on restaurant, when I did a transfer she did not get alert, come and see how I was shaking inside. grin
Finally the nonsense alert entered her account. I gave thanks to God.
But since then I have been living on biscuit and mineral until I get home.

It wasn't a cashless policy. Infact no country in the world operates a cashless policy where citizens & businesses are starved of cash.
The policy was targeted at neutralising cash stockpiled by Polithiefcians & Bandits/Kidnappers etc, & to reduce excess liquidity in circulation.

I thought a lot of you were shouting at the top of your lungs and supporting this policy, calling Emefiele a hero and saying it was against Tinubu and would prevent election fraud. I shouted for all who cared to listen that the people that will suffer it is the masses and not even the politicians, that such a policy was really stupid, but yet I was attacked.
Now elections came and ended up being the worst and most fraudulent election in Nigeria's history despite the so called stupid policy. Vote buying was even increased to another level using dollars. In the end, it's the masses who are still suffering it. Nigerians and stupidity are like 5 & 6!

Nigeria is gone to the dogs. A typical failed country into the same category as Somalia and South Sudan. Anybody reading this , the best decision you can take now that your generation unborn would forever sing your praises is to japa . Japa now and never look back because this is just beginning of the end for the failing state called " Nigeria".

Our government is trying to copy America, forgetting that America will not suddenly declare their old currency no legal tender when new ones are yet to circulate. Not even our Bank network can cope with the daily backlog of transfer. Worst case scenario is that one in every ten transfer transactions will hang and you can only goto bank for reverse if money involve is substancial, otherwise may forfeit token amount like N100-N500. This CBN policy has turn most Nigerians into broke ass and it's making people to lose their hard earn money to POS operators and commercial banks in any unsuccessful transaction.

Nigerians are the most docile people on the planet earth. That why these corrupt politicians use the Nigerian people to play football. No other people in the world would accept all the bullshit that’s been going on in Nigeria for the longest time.

One tenth of what happens in Nigeria on daily basis didn’t happen in Tunisia before they started the Arab Spring.

It pains me when this nonsense started so many Nigerians I met were saying it's the best policy Buhari could implement.
As a hard earned Nigeria I might say I was selfish because I never saw any good in the useless policy... I know politicians would dribble past this b4 we normal citizens...fools wouldn't hear the words of the wise.
Now nobody is talking about the best policy anymore..after presidential election because they didn't pay the people to vote, instead they focused on the electorate....and I know it's in hard currency 💲.
We in this level will strive....I can't wait to break free from being poor.
In this lawless country, being poor and uneducated is a disease that have no cure
