Even me, I don't know where I can get cash and go to work tomorrow, all the POS in my area don't have cash.

I have money but I'm broke
Is a terrible situation in Nigeria. This government is the worst that has ever happened to Nigeria since 1960...

Foolishness was only #300 followed me home at all at all naim bad.

The other day I bought 10k and the charges was 3k, honestly e pain me.

So this night after looking for POS,I saw someone I knew he was merciful to collect #200 for #1500.
For my mind....I be the richest woman in nigeria cheesy cheesy

Tomorrow I m definitely gonna queue at accessbank and wildraw money, because I cannot imagine dashing someone 4k.

So guys how have you guys bn surviving?

I think the government now knows they can do anything and Nigerians will only complain.

In civilized countries, the president will be forced to resign.

But in Nigeria, we have resolved to suffer and pretend to be smiling.

Our mumu don do.

But most of you were supporting Emefiele before election thinking it would affect Tinubu,
Some of our Nsogbu Nsogbu brothers wwere even suggesting that he should block all Bank Transfer because of election.
Abeg Make Una enjoy emefiele policy

Is anyone from the SE complaining? Why won't you people enjoy your choice of leaders and their policies and leave the igbos alone? We won you in 2015, you claimed sophisticated and landed yourselves in a mess, we won you again 2023 but you said no, you are enlightened, tomorrow when the result of our warnings keep hitting hard, you will start weeping. Igbos will never suffer irrespective of how tough their useless policies are, Igbos are all over the world and 90% of diaspora remittance that's sustaining the muthafucking country come from igbos, have you seen why no goddamn policy will affect the igbos? keep choosing beasts as your leaders, you will all suffer the consequence, I pity for the few sensible yorubas that were affected by the foolishness of their Majority

Who told you transfer is how you buy things cashless. Card payment is cashless payment not phone transfer. Next time use POS machine to transfer the money to the seller.

This and many more is proof that Nigerians deserve to experience this cash confiscation. Most businesses that ought to have POS machine to enable cashless payment don't have it. The government have to confiscate cash to force them. Even now most of them have not gone to get POS machine for their business.

Imagine just the other day I went to a seller of building materials to buy two bags of cement and nails, the shop is filled with all sorts of building materials, even selling wheelbarrows, but the man does not have POS machine. Both of us went to the POS agent next door and I paid the person N200 to transfer the money from my card to man's account.

When I think of the fact that this man has brand new big gen that he puts on whenever there is no light, but till last week doesn't deem it important to acquire a POS machine I can't help but believe that Nigerians deserve to experience this cash confiscation.

You are not making sense. It's not by wild animal behavior that developed societies went cashless. Cashless is optional and even a relief in developed countries. It's not a Tribulation experience.

Was at Access Bank last Tuesday where I gladly collected 20k old 500naira notes thinking that CBN had complied with SC ruling.
Was later pissed off when I realised the money was being rejected. Was even more pissed when same Access bank rejected the money.

Though the policy wasn't a bad one, but CBN failed woefully to print enough notes & strictly monitor the distribution.
Effect is that so many small businesses have crumbled & Nigerians are being subjected to untold hardship for lack of cash. embarassed

Doubt if Nigerians can continue like this for long. It's either CBN issues enough notes or they revert back to the old notes.

. People no deh to scatter people head for the bank?? How will you give money you won’t take?

A friend had to travel to a village in Enugu state to go and give his aged mother some cash to eat because POS in villages are reaping them off. He said he had to choose options of looking for burial money or look for cash to give his mum.

Well, yours is still a sweet experience, lost my job since last year, having being trying everyday to get job and until now, nothing yet. Life has been immensely hard.

Fast forward to this year, I realized, we were still better in last year compared to now. My people, I swear down, we have no food to eat, myself, wife and my one year old son, we’ve been surviving on a cup and half of gari daily. All cos, I’m broke inside out, no one is out there to help or support you. In fact, at this point where we get gari on credit, if I would like to respect myself, we are not suppose to go there for credit this week. So apparently, I have no hope on how we will survive this week. I believe in God sha.

Bro you're not alone in this suffering, me too, my current situation is cose to this right now. Things will be alright one day. Men is alone when it comes to suffering no one has sympathy for men.

I don't know why Labour Union has not called for a Nationwide strike because I don't know how workers who aren't mobile go to work or move around in this cashless punishment. undecided

The situation isn't funny at all and many Nigerians are really suffering due to this policy.

Let me share a very short and sad story with you.

I was at the market yesterday to get some groceries and provisions for the house. I made the payment via transfer because I didn't go with my ATM card. Unfortunately, I was debited immediately but the vendor didn't receive alert on his end.

I came to his shop around 3pm. You wouldn't believe that I waited till 6:30pm thinking that the alert will come in.

Lo and behold, Mr. vendor didn't get the alert.

I hard to return all the stuffs I bought. He collected my phone number and told me that he will call me once he sees the alert so that he can transfer my money back to me.

I was angry but I had to receive sense immediately because it wasn't his fault. He was just trying to play safe too.

I came home angrily and drank semovita with no Sugar.

The policy is just so annoying.

It may sound funny and unbelievable but I prepared it the same way you will prepare Pap.

No, he hasn't but he called me that he has seen the alert.

I haven't gone back to him yet due to my busy schedules of the day.

Wow very frustrating... Unfortunately this is what many experience in daily transactions
