Everybody loves songs, in fact it would be very difficult to meet a person who hates songs bitterly in this world. There are so many reasons why a lot of people love to listen, hear, or sing songs, or music. Some people listen, hear, or sing songs just to entertain themselves, others too for encouragement (some songs have their lyrics to be encouraging), and many others. Generally there are two major types of songs that are ruling our world currently, and they are gospel songs and secular songs. Gospel songs are mostly termed as Christian songs because they speak about the love of CHRIST JESUS, His mercy, grace, wonders, mighty, power, salvation, and His great attributes, which can be in a form of worship or praise.

On the other hand, secular songs which are also called worldly songs, or music are songs which mostly talks to fuel all kinds of things that happens in the world which can be morally upright or wrong. But in this current century most of the secular songs we do hear day in and day out are full of lust, lack of morality, and uneducative. Listening to secular songs can be very dangerous to you especially when you're a Christian. It's never good at all for a Christian who is a child of God to listen to secular music or worldly songs, because most of such songs are very demonic, and they can ruin your spiritual life as a Christian. Some of the dangers associated with listening, singing, and falling in love with secular or worldly songs includes the following

1. You carry demonic presence as you listen or sing secular songs, most secular artists are into occultic, and secret societies, most of them do not serve the living GOD. They therefore gain their songs from the devil so as you sing their songs you attract demonic presence to yourself which will eventually suck your attention from God, your creator. In the same way many gospel artists, and musicians get their songs from the Holy Spirit maybe through dreams, inspiration or any other means it is the same way secular artists also get their songs from the kind of deity they worship. But how will you know that you're carrying a demonic presence because of the secular songs you listen to or the secular artist you follow? One of the common ways is when you're used feeling a heavy and serious lust, sometimes you can be facing disappointment, and the most common demonic presence is when you start experiencing spiritual marriage in your life with all kinds of sexually immoral dreams, and night mares.

2. Whenever you start singing, and listening to secular songs you put away the angels of God, and the Holy Spirit away from your life, because instead of you to sing to God, praise and worship His holy name you're rather singing to praise God's enemy that is Satan. In case you didn't know today I want you to know it clearly that any song which does not praise or worship God, praises Satan, the devil. So you must be very careful and switch your mind, interest, and heart from world songs so that you do not drive away the Holy Spirit, and the angels of God from your life, and whenever the Holy Spirit, and God's angels are far away from you, it exposes your life to be tormented by Satan and his agents.

3.Whenever you sing secular songs you open the gate for demons to access your life Apostle Ray White Cudjoe once said "Songs are gates and keys to access the spiritual world" you must note that songs are really spiritual, every song in this world has a deep root in the spiritual realm. The more you listen or sing secular songs the more demons get access into your life, it is just like playing someone's favourite song the person will be surely be happy and his or her attention will draw him or her close to where the song is being played. The more you sing these secular songs of which most of them are from the kingdom of darkness, you take part in the worship of the devil. We must be very careful as Christians or as children of The Most High God so that certain things like things does not move us away from God.
