it will be stolen or used to fund the luxurious lifestyle of POLITICANS... I'm sure of that...it's a shame Nigerians will be the ones to always pay the price of suffering

The price NNPC is quoting is a huge scam.and hike.

Look, after refined within Nigeria, the price cant be more than #350.

Thieves.

from my own personal calculation with data available...it Should be around 380 per liter even with importation...so if refined here it Should be like 300... nigeria has serious issues when it comes to credibility and integrity...#480-570 is high

Don't think votes count here in Nigeria. We counts is money changing hands. Wire some billions into the INEC chairman's account and watch as fictitious results are cooked up.

You will expect that when citizens are under pressure they will hold their government and leaders to a higher level of scrutiny and accountability.

But no. They are busy throwing ethnic bric-bats while the savings accrued from the end of subsidy is shared by the invading army of contractors and Abuja fat cats.

Watch and see how a new set of overnight 'briefcase billionaires' emerge in the next few weeks and months.
the citizens contribute to these mess.. fighting over stupid POLITICANS

But removing the subsidy is the best decision in decades in this country.
Re: NLC Rejects New Petrol Pump Price by Kukutenla: 7:38pm On May 31, 2023
N3TRAL:
The NLC are empty individuals. Government didn't fix petrol prices, NNPC did for their filling stations.

By virtue of the Petroleum Industry Act, NNPC is a private company and no longer a government corporation. The price fixed by the NNPC are independent.

Filling stations that are not under the NNPC franchise can sell at whatever price they want.

Let's face it, the NLC wanted their party to win. The leadership of the trade union endorsed the Labour Party during this year's general elections.

It is painful when groups try to stall genuine and pertinent economic plans because they're not in power. It is counterproductive to play politics when its time for governance. Tinubu himself and the most members of the APC countered Jonathan when he started the process of removing fuel subsidy many years ago.

However, the NLC and sister organisation the Labour Party will fail to stop the removal of fuel subsidy and will fail to win elections in 2027 😂

So any filling station can fix whatever price they want to? Even if it's 1k per litre? You need mental evaluation
Under the deregulation policy, Mr Kyari explained, the government, through the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA), would cease to fix and regulate the price fuel in the country

TINUBU support the removal just because he wasn't part of the canals siphoning the subsidy. Buhari is very wise, privatized nnpc and shift subsidy removal to after his govt.

I don't understand this NLC , throughout the last regime they couldn't standup for anything concrete on behalf of the citizen but this one that has the interest of some few individuals draining the country dry they have suddenly wakeup to the realization of their duties.
They should never frustrate subsidy removal as they did during GEJ abeg.

Those chaps at NLC should wake up and tell themselves it's time to be honest. They've not proved to be truthfully interested in the state of common Nigerians.
Re: NLC Rejects New Petrol Pump Price by davillian(m): 7:53pm On May 31, 2023
They should have first reduced the subsidy first the total removal of it would hit Nigerians hard...
The subsidy money they would still steal it
