Many factors are responsible for the situation of things as we have it.

1. Polygamy was not frowned at back in the days irrespective of your Faith. I personally know Friends whose fathers were Christians and had more than one wife.

2. The Money Chasing Tribes and what money can buy Tribes we have today will worsen matter. Clothes, Jewelry, Gadgets chasing will lead to infidelity here and there.
