That Amalgamation ought not to have been signed. It was a big mistake. There was no basis for any amalgamation. It brought neighbours who were living apart happily and interfacing together peacefully and fruitfully to live together as a family in sadness with destiny and potential of each of the neighbours kept in state of inertia.

I guess you have more sound knowledge than the founding fathers of Nigeria.
Your problem is hereditary

The usual excuse by people who are not profiting from the opportunities the almagamation have been providing since 1912 to those who are smart. Too many benefits, Nigeria is a great blessing but only those with positive mindset understand this based on their fulfilling experience as a Nigerian that have traveled wide and far.

Shut up.

The only ones who benefitted from the amalgamation were northern elites who got free money for doing nothing and colonists who used their racist caste system to extract wealth from the South.

Yes I know. But certainly you will not read any history that points towards how I colonised another country and AMALGAMATED people against their will, for my personal gains.

Any other sentimental questions?

The signing that turn this nation into shit hole and poverty capital.

Merging Southern part with Northern part was the beginning of Nigeria doom.

The North remain backward and they keep dragging other part of the country back.
