That information and picture is patently false.

Symptomatic of how many things in the nation's history remain false, twisted and deliberately manipulated to serve narrow interests.

This is why the so called amalgamation has failed to yield tangible success one hundred and nine years after.

After more than a century, the country cannot refine its own energy resources and imports tooth pick fish, pampers etc. Because we live in outright false hood and denial.
The amalgamation deed was signed at present day Ikot Abasi, somewhere in Akwa Ibom State.

You may want to find the pictures of the place,if necessary.

Below is the picture of where the error was enacted.

The usual excuse by people who are not profiting from the opportunities the almagamation have been providing since 1912 to those who are smart. Too many benefits, Nigeria is a great blessing but only those with positive mindset understand this based on their fulfilling experience as a Nigerian that have traveled wide and far.

I’ve been observing your comments and you sound like a fool.

What does Nigeria gain from 200 million people who are uneducated and mostly scavengers?

What is the overall population of the United States compared to nigeria in the context of the differences in land mass and size of the two countries?

If the United States that is 5x the size of Nigeria barely has 350 million people, what should be the population of Nigeria?

The truth is clear: the region with the highest population in nigeria is the reason why we remain undeveloped because of their apathy towards education combined with their religion and culture. They are pure sycophants.

The day we break away from those that proliferate like rabbits among us is the day we reduce the burden on our GDP.

Stop speaking like fool.

Even your politicians within their hearts know we gain nothing from these people apart from incompetence!

The pictures says it all. "As it was in the beginning, is now and so shall it remains" until there is a sovereign national dialogue on our state of nationhood.

Do we all want to exist as a federation or independent entities in a federation. Lord Frederick Lugard is forever cursed for amalgamating this contraption of an entity.

But here u are commenting on nairaland. why didnt u go and establish ijebuland or okigweland. Lubbish

Eyah...but don't expect Nigeria to favour everybody. Some of us has a very different opinion from yours. Always have positive and optimistic line of thought.
If your opinion of is that Nigeria is doing great then you are either a politician in power or you are on drugs.
We can be optimistic and at the same time truthful.

Clearly we’re not serious in this country, this should be a heritage site.

Took the words right out of my mouth.

No surprises though.

Other countries would ensure that house is preserved as a historical site.

The house is a reflection of the shithole he has created. Dude should have let the protectorates the way he met it.

Tinubu will go and rehabilitate the house. Man is soo clueless. He's looking for what to do to be praised.
