I'm married for twelve years now and my marriage is blessed with two kids all boys, 11 and 9 respectively. Our marriage was also blessed with peace until I discovered my husband dates girls.

The one that pains me most is dating a neighbor who has been my enemy since we relocated to that settlement. My husband has side chicks too numerous to mention and I tried to talk to him but he refused. I left him and went back to my parents house thinking that will make him change and to come and apologize, to my greatest surprise he didn't make a move of putting things in order.

The worst is that the girl in the neighborhood is now living with him sleeping in our Matrimonial bed doing all the house chores and taking my children to school.

I came back and apologized to my husband but he said it's over between us. I love my husband so much that I can't afford to lose him. What should I have done? I expressed my grief of being hurt but it bounced back negatively.

Please advise me on how to restore my marriage.

Okay, l feel for you but l think you did not go about this in a good way.
Most Women think that by "dumping his sad azz" with the Children, they can bring Mn to his knees! It does not work, not in Nigeria.
Your husband having side-chicks is not a deal-breaker, almost any man will have side chicks, at a stage in their lives, Men are not Monogamous by Nature. The ones that pretend to be, are those ones that do it in secrecy.

You should not have left. You should just keep trying to make yourself more appealing to your husband and he will eventually get over these Ladies.
Good hygiene, looking good always, are very important, to maintain his interest in you.
But more importantly, most Men cherish TRUST the most, in their marriage. If he cant TRUST you 101% (despite his flings), it is likely that you will end up just like one of hose side-chicks.... a passing fad.

I know that most Men dont see their Wives, or treat their Wives like they do their Side-chicks.
The side Chicks are just for Sex and nothing more, the Wife is the Pillar of the Home and have a thousand more value, than the Side-Chick so, Wives need to know their position and how to manage it.
Dont leave your Husband and Home, because you are annoyed with him, it will create an avenue for the "Vultures" to move in,... and your husband will feel justified, in that situation! And your Parents should know better and should have told you to go back, immediately.
If he was violent now, l would have excused your leaving Home (to let tempers cool down for a short time) but you need to let "Elders and some of his Friends" intervene and reconcile both of you.
The Side-chick show will take time to subside but it would, gradually. All Men get tired of side-chicks, if they have a stable wife at home.
You can accelerate that decline of interest in the side-chick, with how you relate positively with your Husband.

This reminds me during my youthful years immediately after NYSC in 2008. My girlfriend back then whom I have decided to settle down with left me after intense quarreling saying she can't marry a firstborn, that I was too chubby and fair in complexion. That she wanted a dark complexion man that is slim...immediately she left two other beautiful damsel fought to take her place and one of them eventually became my wife today. She has been stalking me on all social media platforms and keep blocking her. Its a pity she would be 40 yrs old April this year and unmarried

Can we pls stop justifying cheating. Today ,she is the victim, tomorrow it could be someone very dear to you . we honestly shouldn't wait till our sisters or our daughters gets cheated on to understand that cheating is bad. Not to talk of the emotional toll it takes on the victims.

Interestingly the reverse is the case for me , my ex told me she likes me with a big tummy rather than flat and wants me to be chubby rather than athletic that I am. All of these and many more contributed immensely to the collapse of the relationship.
