I didn't have to read to the end to know this guy finished Pit Obi. I mean, what a loud mouthed loser. He's now sounding as senseless and brainless like many of his supporters, Mr Go and Verify.

750Billion naira east west road approved by Obasanjo and reapproved by GEJ?

Where is OBJ's rural health centres in all 774 local government?

Where is Peter Obi's mono rail?

N400bn PHC project initiated by Obasanjo?

Despite the billions allocated for these projects..Are those politicians in APC?
PDP gave 500 billion to banks that was over 3 billion dollars

PDP gave Nollywood over 50 billion that was over $500 million dollars

Bank of industry was dishing out billions to companies

APC is given 75 million dollars loan facility to SMEs but want to build road for 800 billion

Can't you see where the problem is?

The issue is not the road yge issue we have better use for that money right now

Two it makes zero sense to build feel good projects with borrowed funds

A lot of idiots have access to microphone in Nigeria. This writer has not been to a beach before.

There are more that 100 businesses that offer products and services in a moderate beach without any investment interest not to talk of 200 million dollars investment.

When a company of these size goes down, a lot of other smaller businesses that offers complimentary businesses and services go down.

The smaller businesses may have 5 to 10 employees but when you multiply it by the number of such businesses, you will understand the after effect of such businesses going down.

Stop lying.

I have lived in that area before anything like a Landmark ever became popular. There were many beach businesses in that area before the Landmark. When I was young, it was Bar Beach, and then later came Lekki Beach.
The value of that project is much more than any value of any current beach business. Most of you calling 200 Million dollars like we are talking about 200 Million Naira. I just laugh every time I hear that trash. The only thing that can make that place worth 200 Million dollars is the beach itself which he does not own. Did he buy the beach from anyone? NO, he did not.
In the future, there will be many beach businesses with international brands of hotels and more.

I saw the post on the front page. The reply of chibuzo is so good.

The question is, what exactly is the benefit of the road to a common Nigeria on the street?
Don't they have roads leading to Calabar from Lagos before?

The real problems Nigerians are facing now are, insecurity, hunger, inflation and zero electricity. These are the things when solved can benefit a common Nigeria.
One thing about Tinibu is, he is building this project just to tag his name to it that he was the one that built it.

You should be grateful that APC are completing the projects they embark on unlike PDP
Obi played with the idea of mono rail like every right thinking person realized that

1) base on the current economics of the state it made no sense

It could never never break even and would need money to run monthly

And state can't afford it

So why borrow to build with would eat your money

Not every one is as foolish as Lagos people

How does Nollywood chopping 50billion naira benefited the common man on the street. How many blockbuster movies have they produced with that money..

Why is PDP dashing banks money. That's wasteful grin

Bank of industry doesn't also dash out money billions without interest to be paid bank. They are still doing that today. Hardly a PDP benefit.

The actual Landmark structure is not going down. Just a section of the beach itself. Learn to read so as not to be an idiot with a mic.

Rubbish reply. The east west road connects lagos and all Niger Delta states. The new costal Road does the same except it has railways. Now common sense dictates you complete the east west road before embarking on a new road. The east west road is not completed, the portion done are in bad shape yet you start a new road
The PDP Government should have built quality roads..instead they chopped the money.

One of the key importance of this road that I have not heard anyone mention is that it will take the tankers that go to buy petroleum products from Dangotte away from the regular express roads, for at least a major part of the road depending on where the trucks are going to.

The second question as to why they are not starting from Calabar I believe was already answered by the minister where he already said, the Calabar end will start in October also.

This project by the grace of God will succeed, naysayers can keep their negative energy to themselves.
even if the Calabar section will not commence, it's the most logical to start from Lagos, the road will be useful to most Nigerians from the first year of construction before reaching Calabar, but on the other hand if its to start from calabar, it will be a complete waste and under untilised until it gets to Lagos. Those saying why must it start from Lagos only think so out of hatred. Lagos population is close to 30m while Calabar is less than 2m people, only a rogue and stupid government will take such investment to Calabar first.

That coastal road project will only end in Lagos state , infact Victoria Island and lekki corridor, within the 4 year tenure of Tinubu

If the Minister of Works were to be from another tribe other than Igbo, the noise from the controversy could have prompted Angel Gabriel to blow the trumpet.

The typically hypocrites are not in anyway attacking the Minister.
