so at your level I should be educating you on the economic benefits of a significant bridge like 3mb? So why are they constructing roads everywhere if you don’t they don’t have economic benefits😂 you should be ashamed of yourself for asking such a stupid question. So what’s the economic benefit of Niger bridge if I may ask?
Oga u done write these long easy but can't name one economic benefits of 3rd mainland bridge

See myopic mind. So everyone that comment against this unpopular project and share his opinion is from southeast. You guys have a long way to go. Sorry I am a typical Yoruba man.
I repeat no reasonable government embark on an elephant project during economy downturn. They consciously manage the minimum resources available for the greater good of the citizens. You cannot continue pressing the neck of the citizens just because you want people to think you're doing work.
What you people have refused to answer is what has been done on the existing roads? Are the roads in good shape? Yes the project is good but do we need such at this material time of our economy situation. Government prioritize businesses for the good of the people. This trying and error won't favour the country at all.
South South know that the real enemies are those subjecting them to acute poverty and those that have left east west road unfinished but starting another one that may be abandoned for no reason, the same way they have abandoned many uncompleted roads and projects across the nation. Wasteful generation of people that don't think beyond their nose.

Continue writing your jargons, the road had started and nothing can stop it

You're inconsequential in the space of things, you're just an online ranter

The statement he made revealed he has nothing to offer as president. He's only using the movement to try and defraud the populace whether he makes it to ASO ROCK or not. His campaign and endeavours are being sponsored by donations from gullible rich individuals and deceitful tribesmen.

The reality is that if Landmark is encroaching on Government land, I don't see why there should be an uproar if the government takes it back.

My major concern is what happens to the older roads?
IMO, FG should have done extensive rehabilitation to the existing roads, then let private companies handle the coastal road and recover their money through tolling

Tell them, tell this idealess agbadorian miscreant attacking obi, come to think of it, a government who finds it difficult to finish a 3 bedrom bungalow is flexing muscle to build a skycraper, what a joke, knowing tinubu's antecedent, this is a looting project, if we go by his history of crime, drug, fake, fraud, forgery, grabbing, overtaxing and looting

A lot of idiots have access to microphone in Nigeria. This writer has not been to a beach before.

There are more that 100 businesses that offer products and services in a moderate beach without any investment interest not to talk of 200 million dollars investment.

When a company of these size goes down, a lot of other smaller businesses that offers complimentary businesses and services go down.

The smaller businesses may have 5 to 10 employees but when you multiply it by the number of such businesses, you will understand the after effect of such businesses going down.
The question is did Obi destroy buildings while expanding road in Anambra

People should start asking Peter Obi the whereabouts of his wife. He never goes out with her when he attends weddings, burials, church programmes etc. He has never praised her as a support pillar. It is all about himself and himself. He only showcases her during select campaign rallies for political gain. The woman may be disgusted with his poor dress sense, lying tongue and bad fatherhood that saw him raise a homosexual as son.

Rubbish reply. The east west road connects lagos and all Niger Delta states. The new costal Road does the same except it has railways. Now common sense dictates you complete the east west road before embarking on a new road. The east west road is not completed, the portion done are in bad shape yet you start a new road

THE investors have more believe in the COASTAL ROAD viability than the EAST-WEST counterpart. They are investing in what will bring more gains and benefits to themselves and the states involved. Anybody else can take up the EAST-WEST road and invest his money on it if the FG can't pick it up at the moment. That shouldn't stop others from investing in project they believe in.

Is it the investment that is the problem or the nature of the investment in terms of your religious sensitivity to brewery or alcohol;?

Religious sensitivity

It's shameful because 30 million dollars can start a brewery? So tell me, why invest so much in a company that you can start with way less?

On average, the cost to start a brewery is in the range of $500,000 to $1.5 million.

For larger breweries with more varied craft beer offerings, startup costs can reach as high as $2 million.
https://pos.toasttab.com/blog/on-the-line/how-much-does-it-cost-to-open-a-brewery

So tell me why invest 30 million dollars in a business that 2 million dollars can start, that is the textbook definition of money laundering.

It's therefore shameful (that's if you're still oblivious) because, if the most decent person (according to, the youth, young Nigerians, and himself) can openly launder money and still walk around like a saint, what does that say about the rest of us.

You can't invest trillions into roads and rails

Less than 100 billion onto SMEs and expects us not to import

This sounds like a child with a phone, there's basically billions of naira of agricultural produce that is being destroyed and wasted because of lack of favourable means of transportation.

During the orange season, if you go to some villages you will weep for the farmers, trucks and trucks loads of oranges perish by the road because they can't find cheap and affordable means of transportation.

Road/rails, is one of the most important things that differentiate a developing country from a developed country.

THE ECONOMIC BENEFITS OF 3RD MAINLAND ARE THE NUMBER OF COMMUNITIES, FACILITIES AND PROJECTS THAT DEVELOPED AROUND IT WHICH INCLUDES BUT NOT LIMITED TO MARKETS (BOTH ON ISLAND AND MAINLAND), HOTELS, HOSPITALS (OR OTHER MEDICAL FACILITIES), BANKS (AND OTHER FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS), SCHOOLS (ESPECIALLY PRIVATE ONES) MALLS AND MARTS, SHOPS, OFFICES AND EMERGING TOWNS.

THE 4TH MAINLAND BRIDGE WOULD OPEN UP THE IKORODU AXIS TOO TO FURTHER DEVELOPMENT AND EXPAND THE GROWTH OF IBEJU LEKKI IN PARTICULAR AS ALL INSTITUTIONS, FACILITIES (I MENTIONED) AS WELL AS NEW MINI CITY WOULD DEVELOP.

THIS COASTAL ROAD WOULD BRING ABOUT NEW COASTAL ATTRACTIONS AND BUSINESSES TOO, INCLUDING OFFICES, MALLS, HOTELS, SHOPPING COMPLEXES, CINEMAS, NEW BEACHES AND BEFITTING HOUSING ESTATES. DON'T BE A VISIONLESS ASPIRANT LIKE PETER OBI, LAGOS STATE IS HARD TO BEAT TODAY BECAUSE THE ADMINS ARE FUTURISTIC

Mumu man, I'm sure you're still eating "mama thank you" & have not run any business. The Govt or professional valuers have not come to debunk the value of the investment na person wey still dey chop "mummy thank you" like you na wan dey counter the value of an investment. An investment that paid over 2billion naira in taxes last year is not worth at least 200m dollars?. 🤭

Someone once said, " you can't support the APC/govt & not sound stupid". There must be something in the waters they share in that your small APC group meetings.

IPIGSRSHALLOW:

Dummy, so because he claimed 200 Million, that means it's really worth 200 Million dollars? You are dumber than a jelly fish. grin grin grin

I'm pretty sure that his investment is less than 20 Million dollars, if that. I have been there at least 3 times in the past 3 years.
The biggest asset is the beach which HE DOES NOT OWN. Try and use your small brain some times.

Obi will lose relevance completely b4 2027. Only lazy and illiterate youths will vote for him. Things wil stabilise under TINUBU and more people will buy into his ideas. Nobody who understands what it means to have vision will vote for obi. MORE PEOPLE from southeast will also attack him as that will be the pattern that APC will give to those igbos b4 theyre adopted into the APC stronghold. APC will want to make an incursion into southeast and they need LOYALISTS who can get them votes. APC will want to do away with those old politicians who have not really been loyal and also a bit powerful but wth less political influence, notably the likes of Orji Uzor kalu and Iberiberism.
