How to Become an Atheist:

If you are thinking of becoming an atheist, beware. The first step is easy, but it’s not so easy to walk the walk.

You will have to ignore design when you can see it everywhere: in the universe, the atoms, the birds and the bees, the clouds and trees, the seasons, the human body, fish, flowers, fruits, feet, and even fungus. And of course, there is the amazing-looking human eye. Everywhere you look and everywhere you can't look with the human eye you will see incredible design.

Now here's the really difficult part. You will need to believe that everything man-made: cars, computers, and candies were made by man, etc., but deny that everything in nature--cattle, camels, and cabbages, etc., were made at all. It came from nothing, with no Maker.

Once you have done this, crown yourself as being intelligent. Then you will need to find other atheists who believe as you do, and they will confirm to you that you are indeed intelligent. You will also need to believe that evolution is true and that you’re an ape and therefore you are not morally responsible because apes have no moral absolutes. Never forget to always give God a small "g," and learn believers' phrases such as "Evolution is a proven fact," and "I have no beliefs in any gods."

Do these things, and you will be able to call yourself a "new" atheist. How cool is that! Well, not really. You can't be a true atheist because you need absolute knowledge to say that there is no God. Besides, you intuitively know that He exists. Still, for sin-loving sinners the benefits of atheism are great in this life. But not the next. So you are really not an atheist, and to keep with your sinful lifestyle I guess you will just have to pretend to be one. Or you could simply check out the link below:

And where did the free will fly to?! If God deliberately turns our minds against him, why should such sinners be held for acts not of their freewill?!

Those visions backed up with the Scriptures were legitimate scare tactics to scare the hell out of you. You guys are so scared of hell that you now figure that by believing God doesn't exist your nightmares would disappear. Your case reminds me of another story.

A man was driving to work when a lorry drove through a stop sign, hit his car broadside, and knocked him out.  Passers-by pulled him from the wreck and revived him.  He began a terrific struggle and had to be tranquillised by the paramedics.

Later, when he came to and was calm, they asked him why he struggled so much.  He said:

"I remember the impact, then nothing.  I woke up on a concrete slab in front of a huge, flashing 'Shell' sign.  And somebody was standing in front of the S."

Didn't you get it? The sun that melts the wax is the same sun that hardens the clay, it is no fault of the sun it all depends on the substance exposed to the sun.

The same principle goes for hardness of heart, which comes on a person in a process of time as he rejects God's word. The same word of God that brings mercy and miracles to the obedient hearer, is the same word that brings misery and misfortune upon the contumacious hearer, just as Pharaoh got to find out.

Your antecdote doesn't follow. "The Lord hardened his heart" has nothing to do with rewards of fortune or punishment of misery, rather it tampers with free will of the individual. The pharoah could have changed his mind, but God maliciously removes such an opportunity for the Pharoah.

Had the Pharoah had his freewill and his actions lead to the Red Sea debacle, then we can justify his misfortune, however God did what he wanted to do.

The Omniscient God had foreknowledge of Pharaoh's reaction when He said "I will harden Pharaoh's heart...." And before you hastily jump to conclusion that God allowed Pharaoh's heart to be hardened, you should ask yourself of what substance was Pharaoh's heart made of? Pharaoh was full of pride and contempt for God's word and will just as you "atheists" wannabe" do. You should also compare Pharaoh with Moses and Aaron and see that these men of God believed, were persuaded and obedient to God which was in sharp contrast to that of Pharaoh.

Pharaoh wasn't predestined for destruction. Neither is anyone. Everybody is created a free moral agent who has a right of choice. Whatever we choose comes from our own individual volition.

To avoid the dire state of hardness of heart like that of Pharaoh's, you must tremble and obey God whenever He challenges you to do so because the human heart is constantly resistant to God's word and delights in sin. When you are obstinate God then permits your heart to become insensitive and hardened.

Therefore, don't ignore God's promptings to believe and obey Him and avoid rejecting God's word to suit your selfish sinful lifestyle. Let a change take place in your heart today as you repent and pray now before it gets too late like it was for Pharaoh.
