I am disappointed ladies. In fact exercising is not only good for weightloss its also good for your brain.its good for easy delivery when you preggy, reduces cellulite and I also use it as my me time to think.

I exercise twice a day morning and evening, by jogging 4km. That means 8km a day.
I have two machines ( treadmill and orbitrek ) if let's say its raining I don't look for excuses not to exercise.I do sit ups as well.I also use e-vibe belt to message my calves so that they continue looking like a womans legs. wink

Body Sculpt class x 2 weekly. Yoga when I need peace (or when a friend bullies me into waking at sunrise to salute the sun undecided). Road cycling or jogging sporadically. Gotta keep moving...

Re: Nigerian Girls: Do You Exercise? by Sissie(f): 9:18pm On Nov 28, 2013
I do exercise, Zumba, belly dance, yoga, i walk/jog once in a while, I do squats, plank, sit-ups, crunch e.t.c. I do different kind of exercise so I don't get bored, and it depends on what I want to achieve at that moment and my mood.

I don't know how you concluded Nigerian girls don't exercise.

ireneidiva:

Not at all,i have been almost same weight for the past 8yrs with slight decrease during the early stage of my pregnancies .weight increases during pregnancy because of baby's weight .My body itself doesn't add, once baby is born,am back to normal.I eat what I like, exercising and dieting no easyooooo ! really glad I don't have to.

Every woman does not gain weight due to childbirth, some gain and loose it naturally while breast feeding.i personally have always practiced exclusive breastfeeding,so may be somehow the babies sucked me dry grin
Re: Nigerian Girls: Do You Exercise? by Lilimax(f): 9:41am On Nov 29, 2013
CastingCrowns: You hardly find girls that exercise, do a little jogging, sit-up's and press-ups.

Perhaps because most african women/girls are naturally slim or laziness or both.

So speak for yourself do you exercise as a girl?
It is a routine for me every morning.
I must do simple aerobics for 15 - 20 mins every morning before preparing for work.
It helps me to keep fit smiley

To me, I tried making the ones I'm close to exert some energy via physical fitness but, they seems to abhor it owing to their lazy nature.
Re: Nigerian Girls: Do You Exercise? by Nobody: 9:53am On Nov 29, 2013
adaobi123: Kinda. I go for a jog twice a week and go to the gym whenever I have the time.

I dance a lot in my room though grin

Do you wash your hair after you jog or out of the gym? Apparently you wear a wig, weaves or extensions I'm guessing, which will stink if you work out in them; prolly the biggest reason black women don't exercise. Don't think I can live with a woman who wears these wigs, weaves or extensions, work out in them, come home shower but don't wash her sweaty stinking hair...I'll drive her out of my house. It's time we men stop taking this nonsense from our sick women!!!
