Dude, you miss the point. Atheism is not the idea(s) of men. Atheism is inherent/innate. No new born child knows any God(s). Anybody that can reason without fear, emotions and indoctrinations, comes to the realisation that death is just natural. For whatsoever has a beginning must have end, just natural.

BTW, I have not seen many proud atheists. Your next door neighbour might be an atheist and you would not know. Silence is golden.

Wow, great intellect you've got there bro!!!

That guy makes me laugh. If he says atheism is a religion/belief, then abstinence is a sex position.

LOL!!!!!!!

I can't blame the dude. I was worse than that during my days.

Pls I need answers from atheists-

1. Do atheists believe there is no God at all or that God exists but He is unjust and not as described in religion literatures?

2. Do atheists believe there exist spiritual forces, witches, wizards, spiritual occults etc and the Devil.

3. Do atheists believe there are charms, jinx, spells, enchantments etc

Unbias: Pls I need answers from atheists-

I can't speak for all atheists - only myself.
It depends on your definition of "god"
If you mean the religious gods, then no, they do not exist at all, and they come off as stupid about the world they supposedly created: In the Bible, it is written that the Earth is in the middle of the solar system(geocentrism) and that it doesn't move. If the judeo-christian God Yahweh was real, he would know.
In the Koran it is written that public hair is unholy, so is menstruation.
I wonder why Allah would make something evil? Aren't they supposed to be infallible and good?

There might be a Creator- or Creators- like aliens and the kind, but it is definitely not the religious gods.
2. Do atheists believe there exist spiritual forces , witches, wizards, spiritual occults etc and the Devil.

No, to believe in them means you believe in the gods that created them.
Humans are the cause of evil.

3. Do atheists believe there are charms, jinx, spells, enchantments etc
Refer to my second answer.
Even if there are, no one has been able to prove them.

Cheers. smiley

Reiyvinn:

First of all, there is no proof of a "soul" (i.e. The One you define as the man that lives after death). Such beliefs started as Philosophy before infiltrating into various religions (thanks to Plato, Socrates and Aristotle).

The only "soul" that exists with proof is our CONSCIOUSNESS which is why the Greek word for it is "psykhe."

This concept of "soul" is still warped.

Religionists always say that the soul is invisible, eternal and spiritual.

Yet, they still believe that soul (a spiritual entity) would be hurt by fire (a physical element).

Unbias: Pls I need answers from atheists-

It is highly personal. Many reasons not to believe. The choice is yours. My personal conviction is that, even if He(God) exists, He obviously doesn't give a fvck about us (hence, I'm more leaned to Deism).

2. Do atheists believe there exist spiritual forces, witches, wizards, spiritual occults etc and the Devil.

Most atheists do not. But, even if such forces exists, how does that prove God? Or you mean, wizards, occults created the universe? Those are rather claims for Gods. Personally, i do not believe in any Devil, unless you mean "good and bad". They are products of we- humans.

3. Do atheists believe there are charms, jinx, spells, enchantments etc

These are also claims for Gods. And mostly anecdotal.

Have you done any practical research on Juju/charms before concluding they are not yet proved?

If u r still leaned to deism, then u r still agnostic.

They do not prove d existence of God but of the Devil. Let us show evidences that the Devil exists first.

Have u tried to find out if the existence of these evil forces and charms are most likely untrue?

Yes, I have.
If your precious"juju" was real, why didn't your ancestors use it on their slave masters?
Why haven't we used it to win world cups?

If you think it's real, use it, let me shoot you in the head at close range, if nothing happens to you I'll convert to any religion you want.

Or if you're scared of dying, you can enter John Randi's prize contest and you can win a million dollars.

My personal experience would only be a testimony to him which may not be sufficient to convinve him. Personal experience is inevitable here before you can draw conclusions whether such powers exist or not.

Good thing you know.
Anecdotal evidence is not enough.
I need empirical evidence.

If u really want to know and test the efficacy of diff juju, that will not be not far-fetched. There r several villages u could go for honest research on juju n what they can do. Don't bother about cash because u may even get some as free gifts once they see ur curiosity to know about them.

I have seen several types in action but I do not expect u to bliv my report. Pls carry out a honest personal practical research on this before making laughable ignorant conclusions.

After u r convinced, we can now establish evidences for d existence of Lucifer.

Epic nonsense!

You are the proponent of juju. So, the onus lies on you to prove/convince others.

I have done that several times, and I can assure you it's all fake.
Since you know someone who can do it, why not enter the contest?

Sorry, u may call it a wrong choice of word. I'm still learning English language so pardon me. I was trying to say u must practically use them or see where they r put to test before u can believe they work.

You see like Thomas in the Bible, many people now need to personally have encounter with God before they can believe he exists.

I have nothing to gain telling lies about juju and other African traditional powers here. If I share some stories with you, you will not believe me. I also do not believe in them anymore not bcus they don't exist or work, but bcus there is a power greater than the powers of the rulers n darkness of this world.

Sorry to say that you've not used or tested real juju before. There are so many things I cannot share with you here but my brother, the devil exists n witches n wizards n others r his agents.

Though many acknowledge God by faith which He requires, some have the oppurtunity to encounter him like so many prophets of old. Note that no holybook or religion character or preacher can convince you that there is God. It is God himself who can by revealing himself to you.
Thanks.

Dude, many of those stuff usually involve tricks and lots of manipulations (especially to trick the minds of spectators). The secrets to many of those displays have been exposed in places like India, US, China, e.t.c. But it seems Nigerians (or Africans at large) aren't interested in finding out the tricks behind all these things but prefer to remain tricked.

Take for example, my friends think I use jazz just because of two tricks I played on them:

A SIMPLE CARD TRICK THAT DROVE THEM CRAZY:

The plan was that I'd separate the cards into two, give each to different persons and have them shuffle the cards. I tell each to pick ANY AMOUNT from a group and place it in the other and shuffle until they were satisfied. At the end, I'd fish out their cards (no matter how many they picked).

How I Did It:

Simple! Separate the two cards into odd and even numbers.

THE GUY WHO CUT A LEMON TILL IT BLED:

Yes, back in the olden days, I'd have probably been a pile of ashes; burnt at the stakes for being a wizard. Yet I did cut a Lemon and it bled. But seriously, it almost put me into trouble!!

That must demand a lot of jazz, wouldn't that?

Yeah I invoked the spirit of Sonpana and he told me to:

RUB THE KNIFE WITH HIBISCUS BEFORE CUTTING THE LEMON.....!

Whatever happened afterwards was already taken care of..... I could have called it bad omen you know.

Thanks for that. I have had discussions with atheists n I'm aware that majority of them (those I have met) had at a time professed Christ n some have sound knowledge of the Bible.

Some reasons for shunning God which atheists have given include: unanswered prayers, disappointments, the sins or attitudes of other christians or pastors, scientific errors in the Bible, God's judgement, issues on free-will, lack of personal encounter after long craving etc.

You don't just wake up one morning n become an atheist. It grows gradually from doubts to agnosticism then to atheism. I have had doubts too which nearly swept me off but certain encounters with God set me back on track. I only wish a lot of people could be patient enough n seek God earnestly before disbelieving the Deity. Thanks

Mine, was never because of any of the reasons you listed above. Mine is out of a strong conviction that this universe/God does not give a fvck about us.

Talk about encounter, how/when/where did you have this encounter?

Yes, there r lots of tricks and manipulations here n there. But the demonic n diabolical powers n charms I'm talking about r far from those tricks. There r rituals n charms that can turn one to a millionaire overnight, there r rings that you can use to strike people n they'll fall unable ro rise up again, there are evil ropes u tie to ur waist that prevents knife from piercing u no matter how sharp, there r charms that can make you disappear especially during accidents, there r evil mirror u can use to see people in America while in Nigeria and cast spell on them n command them, there r juju u can use on a woman to make her love you, there r juju u lick in order to have whatever you request from anyone given to you, there r bullet proof incisions, I could go on and on. These are not hear say friend. There r satanic forces n powers n u can verify my claims if you r truly curious. You only need to make some consultations n maybe a little journey.
