Can this awakening, spiritual enlightenment and soul travel be achieved without belonging to any esoteric organizations?....

I've achieved intellectual enlightenment concerning these spiritual stuffs, but I haven't really had a crisp and vivid experience myself.....

I've considered belonging to an esoteric organization and Eckankar comes to mind. But I've limitation which is fear... due to popular beliefs, I feel belonging to such highly spiritual organization where projections to different realm of the spirit will be imminent, I may be trapped by malevolent forces or may be punished eternally in hell.....

yes of course you can. you have to realize that you are soul, created in the image and likeness of God. Soul already have all the qualities of God. the only problem is that of realization of these qualities. Esoteric organizations were simply created to help souls that want to know more about their inner nature without going through the rigours of trial and error.

unfortunately only the bold and courageous can walk the hallowed grounds of the heavenly worlds in full consciousness. the timid will always be unconscious of these experiences. you are afraid because you have not realized who and what you are. as soul, you are immortal and nothing can harm soul in any way. so the issue of being trapped is really laughable.

You are the creator of your life; and by taking responsibility for your actions and learning from your experiences, you earn wisdom and spiritual maturity.

One of the laws guiding the universe is "do all you have agreed to do"
So if you make a promise you are obligated to keep it. No excuses.
If you fail to keep the promise, then the law of Karma takes over.
It is really very simple, you failed to keep a promise to someone, then someone else will fail to keep a promise to you so that you will know how it feels to disappoint someone.
