amosexy:yup! I know that's what tpia would do too women too love babies. @theseekers, different strokes for different people, people do things for different reasons, some would not breast feed for fear of the breast obeying law of gravity too early some would not have natural birth to maintain tightness less leave details for another trend. However, as you said , breast feeding is not antidote for all sicknesses just improves the defense against them, with or without it God's will would prevail. |

amosexy:The last time I went to Ekiti, there were flushing bathrooms and hot water. Well, maybe that's what I get for going to the modern part of the state. Maybe you guys should stop going to the village if it's too hard to bare. Ati modakeke ati moparuwo, na same same. Like you too implied before, they're conniving selfish peeps |
Re: Osun -- State Of The Living Spring! Identify Here by TheSeeker(m): 4:39am On Jul 24, 2009 |
oyinda.:Mostly in the passageway, but some weirdly bury such dead in their own bedroom(I have seen two cases). They have this belief that their father or mother should not be buried outside(they simply don't want their spirits outside). The blue font? Are you jealous? . Well, I'm Libra and my color is blue. I love blue, that's why even from where I am, I'm a supporter of Chelsea Football Club, England. amosexy:You're now from Modakeke? Please confirm this again. Be warned that you will not be able to change your status after confirmation |

FL Gators:I meant that I will start up my debate with you another person without linking it with you -- more like a new page -- you're the old page. I got the first point from this thread where a lady was in relationships with two unavailable men, remember? Second point, you wanted to take on Amosexy and I defeated you predicating my armory on your naivety of your own "domain" |

Re: Osun -- State Of The Living Spring! Identify Here by Nobody: 5:39am On Jul 24, 2009 |
amosexy: seriously, them don brainwash una oh. Its like I'm seeing so many Yorubas buying into this hype that they're worse than other tribes in Nigeria. na wa oh. Did my parents overprotect me or what. Abi I just missed the general train. Maybe that mindset is a result of too much fetish juju sha, for people who were raised like that(not referring to you ) So, in a way, y'all could be right. The women using cloth instead of tissue- is due to poverty. They cant afford pads, arent used to tampons, and tissues are relatively more expensive and flimsier than cloth. They use the cloth and wash after it gets stained. Its not that they prefer cloth, but when money is scarce, you go with whatever helps you "save". And its mainly illiterates who do so. An educated person using cloth is because of poverty, not preference. Think back to 19th or early 20th century Europe for level of exposure. Now, back in the days before Dippy turned totally and irreversibly psycho, I seem to remember a thread where s/he objected to P&G donating pads to somewhere in Africa, saying they were being patronizing and running derogatory ads. |
Re: Osun -- State Of The Living Spring! Identify Here by Nobody: 5:45am On Jul 24, 2009 |
The last time I went to Ekiti, there were flushing bathrooms and hot water. gbam. I've lived in the village though and I still couldnt complain beyond the fact that its quieter, less electricity and fewer people. But I dont compare the two (village and city) because they're not the same. Village is village and city is city. However, unlike most Yoruba nairalanders, my own village was clean, neat and we didnt have a sanitation problem. That could have all changed by now maybe, since everybody don open eye for worse these days. So I guess I'm just special and didnt experience what was common to the majority. My grandma kept a neat house. |
