Good for having management staff that could reason with the public and not all those looking for jobs and playing pranks with the trust handed over to them by the company that employed them to serve the public.

SLOT can actually capitalize on this by making this guy the next OLAJUMOKE. He is a student and he appears intelligent, get him as a prominent Youth/Student Ambassador. You can have his pictures on your adverts and I bet you LASU and other University students will patronize SLOT the more. SLOT should use this as an avenue to publicise and change the guy's life for good.
He easily could have made millions from SLOT if he had taken the matter to court but he appears not to be greedy, pick him up and make him a model.
I do think they should have given him a new phone or even some sort of cash compensation, but people may have taken that for a bribe. Changing his life for good will be better. Over 50,00people read his story here on nairaland alone,he is some sort of celebrity now. SLOT authorities should please take note.

First I must commend you for challenging bad service, next I must give REAL kudos to SLOT for listening and acting properly, because it is very rare to see co-operations in Nigeria doing the right thing even when they are clearly wrong. SLOT I SALUTE YOU.

As much as I don't like you guys (for personal reasons), I must admit that you have restored my faith in Nigerian Businesses.

Thanks a million for your speedy response and addressing the wrong and making it right rather than taking the defensive.

I will advice that a proper customer complaint and feedback system be set up to address future re-occurrence. Not just a human system but also a Mail box where complaints can be addressed to and read by top management.

Also find an ingenious way to monitor the happenings on the floor of your outlets to make sure that all your employees are doing what they are supposed to.
