Most people who speak in tongues know in their mind that they are saying rubbish!!..

Why must every tongue language begin with ..... "Robobobo," or "shakabaya......" or "rotototo*. Who is cooling who.. Our God is not a God of confusion.

I was in a Pentecostal church where the pastor was teaching people his go speak in tongues, if its a gift just like the gift of prophecy , why must u learn to speak in tongue..

Thunder go fire many pastors

FREEZE MADE ENOUGH SENSE THIS TIME AROUND.

Even Apostle Paul saw a situation where everyone spoke in tongues without an interpreter as senselessness and MADNESS.

Nope! Freeze made sense to his followers, much of whom lack understanding.

You dont speak in tongues to people, thats exactly what Apostle Paul addressed in those scriptures.......

As was typical in those days when people - whom the Spirit of God came upon and had a word to prophesy to edify the house - will come out and address the crowd, speaking to them in other tongues - as paul pointed out in scripture - is madness. He advocated for interpreters that understood each speaker and that they speak in an orderly fashion by course.

Praying in tongues on the other hand, is a different matter altogether, if I choose to pray in tongues, I address my maker and not the next man so its no issue.

That I spoke in tongues while I prayed isnt off, but you cant give a prayer point in tongues and expect all to understand, that is madness.

Freeze just thrives on 2 things, the misguided hatred that people have for Active/influential Christians/ministers and People who lack understanding of Scripture......

Can this Daddy Freeze make the sacrifices some of these men of God made for years before they got their breakthrough? Can he?

Calling them thieves is not scriptural. I pleaded with those I know to listen to DF and at least understand him. I thought after all God has corrected a prophet using a donkey in the past so what is wrong if He uses DF.

But now I think Daddy Freeze has now taken it too far. The bible allows you to correct an elder and not to rebuke him, talk less of calling him a thief.

I cannot persuade anyone to listen to himself being verbally assaulted. Daddy Freeze has taken this too far and might soon walk alone.

Did you read what he said from an objective standpoint at all?

A flash back to my old post

https://www.nairaland.com/3773882/speaking-tongues-another-lie/1#56228400

let me share a short story

Last year I visited my Aunty who is a committed Christian so she kinda figured out I didn't care much about religious antics and asked if I was even a believer, when I gave my life to Christ bla bla bla.... She asked if I've spoken in tongues, I said no and she flared up telling me if I had truly accepted Christ as my saviour, I should have spoken in tongues and all.

She decided to take me to her church during one of their mid week programs and handed me over to one of their upcoming Pastors to help me speak in tongues that day . The guy laughed and said, dont worry young man, you will speak in tongues. Truth be told, I wanted to experience it so I tried to turn on my holy mode by fire by force. After reading the bible and preaching for few minutes, he asked me to kneel down and pray for the Holy Spirit to come. I prayed no be small o but I didn't feel anything so as I was praying,he told me to say anything that came to my mouth (haba, that one no be Holy Spirit ,Na holy jargons be that na) on a good day, I could have formed a jargons and be repetitive but I couldn't at that moment cos I was meant to be serious. The only thing that came to my mind was "Skiboroboskiboroboyeba oshey baddest " but I couldn't say it because the guy might know grin grin grin so I maintained a very low voice and started saying what came to my mind because if that voice ain't low, what I was saying would make me laughed

That incidence opened my eyes about this speaking in tongues stuff cos I told her maid about my experience and she told me every member of that church have spoken in tongues. That was when I knew people just say what they like

they didn't speak in a language understood by d crowd, if they spoke in a language understood by d crowd, how is that tongue, they spoke in languages they themselves have never spoken before and yet they understood, and the crowd also understood, despite the languages being strange, thats the power of the holy spirit

Why was the apostles called drunkards on the day of penticost?

Goan and read about the day of penticost, the apostles spoke in tongues and were called drunkards by the crowd who couldnt undstnd them.

On the day of Pentecost the apostles spoke in other languages that is why the people there said "are they not fishermen from Galilee how come we hear them in our own languages" if they were speaking "askarabombom" would anyone have said they were speaking their languages?

Think about it this way. On the day of Pentecost the apostles converted over 3000 people. If they were saying "askarabombom" would anyone have believed? Anyone can wake up and start speaking gibberish saying he is "speaking in tongues"
It is quite impossible to speak a language he never learnt fluently. Which of the two would have convinced over 3000 souls?

2 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues[a] as the Spirit enabled them.

5 Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven. 6 When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard their own language being spoken. 7 Utterly amazed, they asked: “Aren’t all these who are speaking Galileans? 8 Then how is it that each of us hears them in our native language? 9 Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,[b] 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome 11 (both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!” 12 Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?”

13 Some, however, made fun of them and said, “They have had too much wine.”

You wanna address your maker by inventing a language within seconds, stop deceiving yourself, do you know how long it takes to create a language?? Why must you speak in Jargons so others won't understand what you are saying, even the tongue you are speaking with you self no understand

On tithe which was never explicitly stated in the new covenant to do... I agree with freeze. On his new antics against tongues, I agree with him becos

1cor14
38 But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.

39  Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.

40  Let all things be done decently and in order.

I see his ignorance and trying to forbids tongues and this is not done decently and in order.

1 Corinthians 14:13 Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret.

14:27 If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret.

14:28 But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.

Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. 2:5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. 2:6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. 2:7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? 2:8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born? 2:9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, 2:10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, 2:11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

Here we go again, gradually Pastor bolakale freeze Ayoola will say Jesus is not the son of God.

Anyways he should study Jude 1 and follow that for his dictate. Then again, if you are born again and believe this you never met Jesus and if you are speaking in tongues before and because of this you now say no more, my brother you are not well let's just get that out of the way.

As for what Pastor freeze said that 'doctrine' is isolated and false. Since he is not here I won't speak much but for proof study

1 Cor. 14 emphasis on verse 2, Acts 3, Acts 2 (just 120 people spoke the languages of 3000, then how many languages are all over the world if you are in Nigeria how many people have you gone to find out their tongue not to talk of all over the world.) Acts 10 cornelius and every one with him spoke in tongue please what languages did they speak. I can go on and on

But I say it again if this darkness seen by pastor freeze makes you doubt what you have or is freely given my brother YOU ARE NOT WELL
