Just as the Bible said that Jesus gave up his soul (some translation uses life). Jesus gave up his life or soul for the world. A soul can sin, be touched with a sword, die, Perish. The soul and nothing in humans is immortal. Unless you want to contradict scripture to suit your philosophy.... that whosoever believe in him shall not PERISH (or be destroyed) and have everlasting life. |

TenQ:You said God is not the God of the dead but the living. And still said at death we go to see God. You are contradicting yourself. No one sees God at death cos he deals only with the living. This is why you were told that their would be a resurrection of the just and unjust. Good and bad. You can only see God at the hour of resurection. One can only see God as a living being. Even in your bible all those who have encounters with God were all in their living state not dead. The dead know nothing untill they are reborn/born again/resurrect. For one to see the kingdom he must be reborn/born again at the age when the kingdom comes on earth. If he qualifies as a wheat he would be gathered but as a tares he is destroyed and won't have eternal life. This is what is hidden from many of you christians in John 3. The wrong doctrines in christianity is too much. Many of you look comfortable with it. |
