tempex88: ruwa - water.
kasuwa - market
inakwana - good morning
ba gajia - No problem
akoi gajia - there is problem
naira danlati - 30 naira
ki - pronoun for woman
ka - pronoun for man
yanrinya - young lady

pronounciation matters a lot cos a sentence can have so many different meaning.
naira tanlati - 30 naira not naira danlati - 30 naira

BlackBaron: Sai gobe means good night/bye I think.

Saigobe means -" see you tomorrow "also used as a goodnight greeting.

Sai an jima. - see you soon

Sai wata rana - bye ( long term)

To be honest if not for those Bokos and religious zealots the North is the best place to be in Nigeria. The worst has to be the SW. Terrible dirty ugly people and bad food.
