Bought their sim three days ago because of their cheap data plans, but i must say the service is really poor.

Switching back to etisalat soon... Quality is better than quantity.

In portharcourt, its worst. Sometimes there data signal will disappear for close to 30mins. It's worst. I just remove the sim card though I hv some megabytes on it. Bye bye glo

In my area Glo EDGE is faster than 3G. From 5pm to midnight glo becomes worst. When u switch to 3G at these times the network just disappears completely.

I'm enjoying glo data service but I hate the twin bash promo because you won't be able to check your call balance and not call more than once. I have called NCC like 3 times but nada has been done . their customer agents are just as rude as our networks customer care agents.

They have the worst network coverage amongst the other networks. In my area the highest speed you get is 50kbp/s and that's for a hot second before it's switched back to 12kbp/s, WTF!!

If not that Airtel has refused to stop double billing their data plans, I would have switched back to them. F'ck glo and their cheap data plans.

Using a glo line to download a file of 2.6gig, it's like using razor blade to cut down a tree. .. Glo will claim they give u bonus credit, which is invisible.. I can't even play ordinary candy crush with my Glo data. It has never and it will never sync with my facebook .. so surprising that NCC gave them d best network recently...

You had better remain where you are. Glo data is nothing to write home about. I quit using that network since last year. While very good at offereing cheap prices and bounty mb, their service will make u regret porting. U will pay more than you bargain for.

Guy which one be this 'which area are u staying' that u keep posting. What do u want to reslove? Are u Mike Adenuga? Don't tell me it is configuration because configuration is ok, if it is not ok it will not even browse at all. The problem is the H signal can dissapear and reappear at will and most of the times it disappears when u need it the most. We use other networks and they just work without having to restart phone. Or are u trying to tell us we need some 'skills' to be able to get glo internet to work? If it is so then that confirms it is the worst network.

I can't agree more. GLO Service is truely poor in my area. Only Airtel and Etisalat are reliable. Airtel charge more than double of ones use and Etisalat is really costly. MTN is only good at night and who wants to keep late night because he wishes to browse?.

I Just make due with GLO since i don't have an option. it could take more than 3 minutes to download a file of 2mb.

But, I have recently realized that Glo has actually been cheating me by making it appear their service is cheap. Actually, when I consider the value I get from Glo, it's actually far more costly than using Etisalat: Imagine that you'd buy a Glo data but for it to connect is a big problem. At other times, it will connect and everything shows it's connected but you can't open a single web page. Some other time, it would let you browse but with very annoying limitations regarding many sites. At other times, it's at a snail speed. These are sites that, once you change to Etisalat, it opens with one touch.

The most annoying part of it is that while all these are happening, Glo keeps spamming you with endless SMSes talking about "SUPER FAST" internet service (all in capital letters). Then, you call their customer care, they keep you waiting for ages. Then, you go to their office, you meet with very rude treatment not expected of customer service anywhere.

From my overall experience with Glo, I can say the only advantage they have is price. But I have realized even that price is deception. I believe the NCC should look into Glo Data service. But, I want first to make sure there is a sizable number of you people who have a similar experience with me. To know Glo is the only indigenous brand of all the service providers in the country and yet, patriotism is not letting them make Nigerians happier with them than with the rest is nothing to write home about. However, as I already said, this is my own experience so far. Let me hear from you guys. I don't think any service provider should be allowed to rip Nigerians off under any guise.

I dumped glo service since August 2015, It was the only sim I do subscribe to for browsing and downloading (2.5k fo 4.5gig) in Ile-Ife and I've always enjoyed it, sometimes I do finish the data before the end of the month. I started noticing the fluctuation in service june last year but managed to use it wasting like 650mb. The last subscription I did was the worst of all, I traveled from Ife to Osogbo and even went for a wedding in Lagos, it was the same in all these locations, I wasted 1.5gig of that at the end of that month. So many of my friends had the same complain about the network. I still use the sim though, for calls only.

Very horrible service, intact Glo seems to be the worst of them all.thumb up to Etisalat, they are the best in data service but worst in voice call.

i confirm this quote. i was attracted to glo data because of its cheap rate but very slow in connection. mostly i will pile up my job and do them in the midnight when the service will be fast.

presently, i have moved back to etisalat and with this, i can connect at anytime i desire to do so.

Benin city. Off sapele road, off country home road, off ugbor central road. U kw dat popular place dey refer to as MTN mast? Its keke napep last stop. The whole of that area has poor glo service.

I had a very bad experience with Glo too. I live in owerri where etisalat data service is good. But because I had a few problem with my etisalat line which they cud not rectify immediately, I poted to glo. It was then I knew that I have jumped into fire. Those 90 days before I cud Pot back was d worst days of my life. Thank God am off the network now. If I am to chose between 3 devils, etisalat wud still be my choice.

Please , sir where in ogba do you stay , that would make me able to narrow down to the site serving u .or better still if u can download g-net track u will be able to tell me the cell ID u are latched on that will make it easier to check through the problem. just give a precise location

I dumped glo the moment they told me I could no longer use the 3gb for 1k data on my BB10 phone. Why should I spend N1k for 200MB when etisalat and airtel are willing to give me data in gigabytes for same amount?
