FL Gators:An Oyo man will make you believe what he's not, which is, dumb and stupid. He can sell you right in your face without knowing. There's a usual saying, "Oyo dobale, ti inu Oyo, l'oyo o se" bluespice:Iseyin and Komu men are generally intelligent. They understand rules of trade. They are good business merchants. They are never shy. Even if they sell shit for business, they are always proud of it. They don't steal but their young men like to put up a lot of fights. |

So no one is from Ile-Ife here? Or even Modakeke? Oh, I think Tpia is from Modakeke -- or is it Gbongan --- they are the same anyways. Have the same accent. Now, let's talk tribal marks. I think Oyo State indigenes are so gifted in this area. |

Re: Osun -- State Of The Living Spring! Identify Here by TheSeeker(m): 2:44am On Jul 23, 2009 |
FL Gators:Yes, most of them aren't good looking. They mostly have coarse dark skin(light skinned are 1:15 ratio if not more), big lips, they eat lots of kolanut and drink palm wine to the fullest. They like to jest with their wives and mother. |

FL Gators: I mean the present Alaafin of Oyo, the king of Oyo land. The man is very handsome even with his tribal marks. though people insinuate he bleaches his skin. |

Even the Oyo may have accents the dialect spoken in Oyo is the closest to the officially written one. So they could lay claim to the original Yoruba Language. Nobody writes Ife, Ijebu , Ekiti, Egba, Egbado, Ikale, Ilaje, Igbomina, Ijesa, Ibarapa, Ondo, etc. |
Re: Osun -- State Of The Living Spring! Identify Here by TheSeeker(m): 2:55am On Jul 23, 2009 |
Back to Osun's relationship with Oyo. Osun had more political leaders than Oyo State because it was governed mostly by Osun State natives. Remii:Oh yea, he's bleaching. |

Re: Osun -- State Of The Living Spring! Identify Here by TheSeeker(m): 3:02am On Jul 23, 2009 |
Remii:Yes, closest to the officially written one but that's not where Yorubas are from. If you ask me, Ife should be the official language for Yorubas but y'all don't like them that much. |
