lexyflexy, I haven't been there but my interpretation or idea of heaven is what is in the bible. We will resurrect with our glorified body ( a body that is perfect - no pain, diseases, disfiguration, etc.) and ascend with the Lord to heaven. If you need more references in the bible let me know.

hey listen..the angles that sinned against God in heaven where not of human body. Got created angels for good but some of them turned out to be bad. These angels does not have a human body yet they are bad. Lucifer is one of them..therefore it is possible that even after our tranform to be like the angels...there could also be bad eggs.I am not trying to be antichrist..I am just following a deductive approach to look at things.the book am writting will change peoples mentality for sure but that is for the good of mankind and for God to take his/her glory...

that the Da vinci code is anti-biblical record of the birth and life of Jesus, and to read it freely without guide is opening yourself up to erroneous teaching.

Larger 20 is thinking of writing a book on heaven and he has his own view of heaven, partly anchored on the bible but not completely. Check the discussion thread for details.

The word "christian" stems from the word "Christ". Being a christian is not a religion it is a way of life, it means to be "christ-like", to live like christ did when he was on earth (as described in the bible)..
so you can call yourself a christian, but if you are not christ-like, then you are NOT going to heaven..this applies to Muslims as well, how can you be like a person that you do not believe in.? so No muslim will be going to heaven.

As far as the issue of boardom goes, i have to agree with Geez....imagine your best praise and worship session ever, and multiply that by more than a zeollion....that is just a tip of the iceberg as far as entretainement in heaven goes..

In response to Larger_20, the only reason why Jesus showed the emotion of anger is because he was born into flesh and as such for the time that he was on earth he took on the qualities of the average human....this did not and still does not make him any less holy.

It is not in tune with the teachings of Christ to profess faith without work. Those of you who believe that your faith alone will take you to paradise are missing it. Did Jesus not teach us to pray in the following manner ' forgive us our sins as we forgive those that sin against us'. If this is the condition that the great teacher says we should remind God of, who are we to claim that it is something else that will bring salvation. Jesus could have taught us to pray in a manner as below ' forgive us our sin becuase your son was ordained to die for us'.
Since he did not teach this type of invocation, to believe and hold on to anything contrary is anti-christ. Again, Nobody has said anything about the teaching of Jesus narrated from Mark 12 Vs 28. Is it irrelevant to the topic. Some seekers of Truth should crosscheck and speak up.

This is very funny.Anyways.as a matter of fact..I belive in God and the bible..so whatever I say will end up being in favor of GOd..however my argument is that based on deductivism.....heaven may not be a parfect place..dont be surprise some people might ask God on that day if He has a wife   or if he ever get excited and Hot.....lol ..all these little things that worry us on earth....Rememeber that there was a time when some angels came to earth and slept with our women....so...unless God takes out such a thing from us..u never know..again it is all deductivism..

The only way heaven will be perfect from my stance is for God to take out that human mentality and deductivism from our brains..that way we may lack cognition and do whatever we are told to do in heaven while enjoying the it

No man born of the spirit will ask those questions; what of the spirit is spirit and what is of the flesh is flesh....waht you have just said is of the flesh and resides in the mind, which is unfruitful beyond the grave, what is of the spirit is deep-rooted in the soul and it is born of God......no man in heaven will ask God if he ever get Hot.

Because to get into heaven means that you have maneged to conquer the flesh....

When one dies, he's no longer of the flesh. He becomes a spirit being. So all forms of human mentality or reasoning will be wiped out. I tell you, even if you're in hell, you won't think of whether the devil was ever Hot or not.
