Most of you that don't know, orange is in Africa. Cameroun and other central African countries are already using it. Go and check it out, they can compete with ant network in Nigeria. Is a strong network. In Nigeria if you go to Gembu in Taraba state, the boundary between Nigeria and Cameroun residence there uses Orange network from Cameroun.

so you're trying to say the gsm service provider door is closed for Nigeria.
If they make the right choice they'll make it,even vodacam that sold it's assets to Nigeria said they made a mistake, they even fired those involved.
The Nigerian gsmarlet is still open as long as they don't mess up like 9mobole did by providing similar data plans or even more expensive like that of 9mobile.

I hope they can offer unlimited Internet for a fix fee, like they do in Europe. I pay 25 euros per month for an unlimited 5G network with unlimited sms and call to any network in Europe, please bring it to Nigeria. MTN and other network are milking us dry here.

Thank you.

impossible...

NCC regulates data price since we pay vat...govt can't wish we have cheaper data

Just me they will penetrate, considerating their reputation in other countries and their financial strength too. This won't be like TSTV and DSTV cos this is Like two giants dragging a Land.

Since there are opportunities as you claim, why is smile still struggling? Why the CDMA network crashed out of Nigeria market since they had the presence more in big cities like Lagos?
A lot of factors hinders a company progress.

Operational module (long term/short term)

Product quality

Consistency

Financial strength etc

A company like orange has high operational standard far bigger than MTN or GLO.... Can they give this guys a run for there money....a definite YES.

You and I know Telecom companies here, give us shitty services, day in, day out. That gives a lot of room for opportunities. Imagine orange coming in to give you better data offer, better coverage (broadband reach and quality), cheaper rate, you stream without it buffing, make calls without being interrupted.

Won't you switch immediately to orange?

Exactly my thought. Europe long have a record of taking every opportunity to spy on and exploit African countries. Their resources and sources of revenue are fast on the decline. Just as the likes of Columbus and European elites convened to share African resources to themselves long before the colonial era, Africa is the new market and the reason why world leaders are fighting a cold war on our land, yet we can't even see it, but too naive and blinded to accept anything. As for the coming of Orange, I am not in a position to judge criticize anything. If their intentions turns our genuine (something rare with Europeans), then we have no problem, but bear in mind that whatever business Europeans bring to Africa is not an indication that they actually mean well for us.
We have all the resources and even good education, yet impoverished, so bad.

Exactly. Especially Telecoms business. What better way to spy on a country than that?
Re: Orange To Enter The Nigerian GSM Market by AreaFada2: 7:31pm On Jun 15, 2020
Companies like Vodafone, Orange and others should have been in 9ja since the beginning but for corruption in 9ja system. To offer top quality service.

But NCC Will make life hell for them. 9ja corruption is too bad.

Even our least telecoms Glo is Africa's least competitive and Nigeria's most useless network.

If our politicians stealing our money can be investing it in Nigeria instead if using it this go and buy shares in companies overseas and in foreign bank by now Nigeria for don better

Honestly speaking

You asked very very valid questions

Our Nigerian elite class should be more up and doing
